Cyberpunk 2077 got a new update today, version 2.21, and with it came an update to DLSS.

This includes multi frame generation which launches with the RTX 5090 later, but some features work on older RTX cards, including budget ones.

Thanks for watching 🙂

  1. Just tried DLSS 4 Transformer model in path traced Cyberpunk at 4K DLSS performance, ABSOLUTE FUCKING GAME CHANGER!!!! 4K native and FSR is officially dead as a door nail to me, Nvidia have officially made native resolution irrelevant, performance mode in 4K is unbelievably good, hell, even the Ultra performance mode is way better than the previous quality mode! It's basically the same image quality gap as the previous CNN DLSS model vs FSR 3.1, AMD's FSR couldn't be more dead right now, they haven't even launched an AI powered FSR yet with their RDNA 4 GPUs and Nvidia already have transitioned DLSS to a transformer model, and it's available on ALL RTX GPUs all the way back to the 20 series!!! With support for ALL games that featured any version of DLSS with Nvidia's driver level DLSS model override, while barely any game supports FSR 3.1. I think we know why AMD delayed their launch now, FUCKING RIP AMD.

  2. When you select ultra performance, transformer model gets disabled. Atleast on 4K Ultra performance, preset changes to B from J even when transformer model selected, which is very old and very bad. I think maybe you should redo the last bit of the video with DLSS Hud Enabled. You can even force Transformer model to work on ultra performance if you use nvidia profile inspector.

  3. I'm a dlss fanboy myself , but I honestly couldn't tell the difference. ✌️ 😂

    Probably because of youtube compression..
But I'd honestly settle with old Cnn for more performance , and perfect sharpness.

I hope the old one will not be replaced ,just add an ultra quality mode(tm) instead..

  4. I've been using this same card for 6 months and can't ask for more lol. It's a beast card for a very low power consumption. I can play ghost of tsushima very high preset on 80 to 95fps dlss quality.

  5. DLSS 4 is actually an insane leap. I play with Path Tracing and there's a lot of blurriness that comes with it if you use DLSS. With the new update the image is crystal clear, it's almost as if I'm playing at a higher resolution. Balanced DLSS looks better than the Quality DLSS from the 3.8 version, I am not kidding.
