Congrats! You cleared your way to the final boss in the mission “Beat on the Brat.” He doesn’t have to be that difficult. Try this method at any level, any build, and you should be able to take him out easily.

Was the weapon thing patched? I’m playing on pc, and when I try equipping the weapon it says “action blocked”

If you use gorilla arms and just keep doing a charged punch he gets infinitely stunned

The melee weapon was a waste of time. Beat him with my fists much easier than using a weapon.
He still targets in mid air
This quest sucks so hard, everyone on the internet advises to get the gorilla arms, but there's no way I'm gonna get those ugly arms just for one quest! Thankfully (??) this game is so full of bugs that there's the solution you've shown…
By the way it still works with patch 1.12, you just have to be sure your weapon slots are full before picking the item.

drive a truck on top of the ring and jump on it he will never be able to hit you lol
I recommend just trapping him with a car then just beat him senseless with the melee weapon
They removed the weapon bug
I've litro just found if you're using a melee weapon blunt or blade and just block his attacks don't damage you
Even when u slow down time. His punches tracks you down.. so broken..
Well what do you know… At first it looked like they CDP had updated the game so in v1.23 that this trick won't work anymore. But after hours of testing and several quit game & restart I finally was able to get this one to work. Something has changed in the game since this video because the final boss really wasn't the dumb jumping jackson that it is in here and over 100 times I got the ACTION BLOCKED message when trying to equip the melee weapon from the ground. It may be possible that this trick won't work in the future versions of the game. I can see the CDP guy responsible of this quest swearing alone at the office. It is supposed to be hard! Damn cheaters, I'll get you!!!
he moves completly different then what i see in your video, he kicks, swings wide and hits me no matter what – in the video he just jumps over and over again…

This doesnt work anymore. Seems they patched it. Tried multiple times but they patched it. It's near impossible to win this fight now. He also gets VERY aggressive so he will just go around doing 7-8 punches in a row which are very hard to dodge looking at how shitty the hitbox detection is in this game.
He's very tough, I hate that mission.
