so it is possible that this DLC is going to uncover more about Petrochem, the Fourth Corporate War, the founding of MaxTac, the establishment of NetWatch, the development of BDs and ofc, Alt Cunningham as well as the introduction of a private military corp named The Lazarus Group. And depending on player choice, we might encounter Agent Moseley again.
as for the Voodoo Boys involved, it is doubtful since they have everything they need plus NetWatch is still cracking them down plus they wont give a shit for whatever is going on in NC.
for Alt, it is possible that we may encounter another fragment of her psyche. I theorized that it Songbird, which is the mysterious woman engram like Johnny that we see in the trailer, is another fragment of Alt. The Alt we faced in the main game is but a rogue AI who got lucky in integrating a fragment of Alt. Also read the Black Dog story as it sheds light on Johnny and Alt situation post-death

CIA used to be a significant thing in Cyberpunk universe in the 2020 edition. Seems that FIA is its successor. Maybe an amalgamate of CIA and NSA, or the whole Alphabet Family put together to keep things simpler? As for the story, a lot is pointing to the possible coup taking place. Maybe Militech is tired of riding the back seat, and is trying to dispose of Myers, who might have begun to put nation's interests before the corporate's? Or maybe someone is tired of Militech even riding the backseat. As Kress was, at least in the 2020 edition, quite anti corporate, she might be willing to step up and put a leash on Militech's neck once again. And those Dog Town militia seems to be well organized and equipped. Maybe remnants of Free States military, or Lazarus. There's nothing on Lazarus in CP2077, except one mention of "A man with a black cyberarm" taking down four Lazarus agents (Lazarus Group agents?). Lazarus was closely aligned with Militech back then and friendly with US Gvmt. But if they took Free States side during Unification Wars, they might have beed crushed and nationalized or even integrated into Militech or the military proper. Also, I just can't picture Edris Elba as a villain. Reed will be probably all sorts or gray, with the possibility to become something of an antagonist. We'll see. Glad that we'll get to see far more world building outside of the Night City. I think that whatever we speculate now, we just might get surprised 🙂
