When I first walked in I could faintly hear this song, and I thought "is that claire de lune?" Then after the mission I sat by the piano and was like "it has to be"
It annoys the shit outta me that they got the keys wrong on the grand piano. To begin with there are 117 keys instead of 88 and the keys on the bass end of the scale appear to go A – A# – B – C – C# – D – D# – E then jumps back to C – C# – D – D# before going on in the correct pattern
After all the dialogue in the apartment the peraleszs go to separate parts of the apartment and argue simultaneously with different people on the phone about the mayors campaign while this plays in the background. They never rejoin and I just stood there by the piano which was in the middle of the room watching and listening to them until they both went silent and stayed where they were. It made me feel heartbroken and worried for them for some odd reason. Also it made me think that I had given the wrong person up to these rich people who could easily harm him. I mean they hired me didn’t they? After all, all I had were suspicions about Holt. I wasn’t sure, neither was River I think. But sometimes you make a choice and have to stick by it. I processed what I’d potentially done then walked out of that apartment unsure of what was going to happen, but knowing all the same there was no turning back now.
I remember being extremely high doing this mission hearing this, I was thrown. I did not know what to do so I just took it all in. This must've played about 4 or 5 times before my brain switched back on – great times.
Claire de lune is one of those songs that can make you cry from The first 3 notes, and where if the world's greatest tradegy isnt playing out on screen when its playng it feels inappropriate and downright offensive.
My best friend just sent me this, and that seriously made me reconsider playing this game. Clair de Lune is one of my favorite songs of all time and one of the most important things in my entire life. I wouldn't be even standing here if it wasn't for classical music, the piano, and of course, this song.
I wanna thank my asshole of a friend, for sending me this knowing that I cherish this song. Thank you, dude.
I spent 10 mins in their apartment thinking about Ocean's Eleven final scene
I sat here for an eternity in game. Was wondering if this was the only location this song plays in game. Big Nostalgia
