  1. The community really needs to come together and really define the issue with this game. It's not the bugs, it's the lies.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a very fun and enjoyable game, but it's not the game we were promised. It's an action-adventure shooter with rpg elements. It has a very strong story and great characters. It has amazing graphics, it has amazing music, it is amazing.

However, it is not the game we were promised. I truly do not know what part of the community still shares my sentiment. People who complain and just drone on and on about bugs and glitches that hinder the game, but does not ruin it, miss the point. The day one experience was not good at all but it did not make the game bad. However, it was still not the game we were promised

You may have been immersed in the story, the graphics are definitely immersive, but it is not the immersive rpg we were being told the game was striving to be. It could be called a rpg if youre okay with a half-assed shallow experience where your choices barely mattered. It's as much of a rpg experience as Mario, where you play the role of a plumber saving a princess.

  2. i remember when the game Shadow of mordor came out, it was a cross gen game, the selling point of that game was the nemesis system, that in the xbox 360 and ps3 was cut out of that version B/C hardware limitations, if they will keep trying to put that game in the past generation, they must lets say spearate both games one cyberpunk for pc and current gen and one lesser for xbox one and ps4,

  3. The game was already in a rather good state on PC when it released. I could play through it without any major issues. On consoles, it's rough though, and I doubt it'll ever run well on last gen consoles.

  4. This is VERY good news moving forward.

If they get strong enough playerbase, maybe they'll be working far more than just 2 expansions.
I can't honestly get enough of this game. 300 hours played and just waiting for more content to drop.

I would even pay for a new "game" in the same city where you'll have completely different character creation option, where instead of having Jackie as your friend, you'll meet up with some other person, who's going to bring your life to the bottom, and you'll barely end up surviving some thugs, and join with Netwatch and that game is more focused on hacking and going beyond the blackwall.

  5. I expected this to happen right after the big updates of 2022, not now.

I'm happy for the game, but this maybe sends the wrong message…

I mean, if they expected to work "X time" in improving the game, maybe if the reception are good and even without the big improvements and changes to the gameplay… they say, "well, gamers are happy now, it seems, let's move on", and honestly, I don't want that, I want CDPR to improve the game way further than free DLC's, bug fixing, quest fixing, and expansions.

Hope you understand my point, cheers.

  6. Good for them but still the lies really put me off CDPR, for now at least. The launch was a disaster and should not have have released like that, should have been delayed, they did everything opposite of what they were promising. I probably won't play it until the game is fully patched, I'm not even talking about content but immersion breaking/AI/missing stuff.

  7. I'm waiting for the french AZERTY keyboard support. Otherwise its impossible to play, it really sucks that us french players cannot play this game. The game just doesn't let you rebind all controls for some reason.

  8. Thanks for the update LKM. Honestly I feel like this is just inflated numbers, self promoting PR, self promoted reviews. After the whole game award show listing with this shit I would not put anything past that. Definitely disingenuous. And I think that’s what gets me the most. It is that for a majority of consumers, it seems difficult to just be honest. There is a feeling that giving critical feedback and criticism and just calling shit for what it is… Is viewed as a taboo. You cannot do that because it will hinder your own projected enjoyment of the game or will it into existence? I’m not sure how to view it but, critical criticism is definitely viewed as some kind of hate word in today’s culture. Which is a sad thing because critical feedback and criticism is the very thing used to generate and promote betterment and improvement. It is given in the desire for greatness. It holds others accountable and sometimes even yourself, for the sake of a higher standard and achieving more. It is viewing and pointing out the flaws or inconsistencies or failings or in accuracies for the sake of realizing a more full potential because you see the potential. Everything that went on with this project and the two different games that were made between its early early development stage with the first game back in the Witcher days all the way to the first development stages of the second game in 2018, all of this information about everything around this project and what the leader ship of the company did especially the new leader ship, is blatantly obvious and publicly accessible for everyone to not only view but also to ascertain through common sense and patterns following information and progress from all of these years. And though there are many of us who had the ability to be honest with ourselves and with the project and just call shit for what it is, no rose-colored glasses any of that bullshit, the majority of consumers as well as the corporate leader ship and company management teams… Want to just sweep shit under the rug and not be held accountable and project onto failures for the sake of ignorant and mediocre success or a profit. I completely understand why certain individuals in company leader ship team and CEOs and such would be snake-ish . It’s a profit thing. Can’t fault a snake for being a snake but you can’t hold him accountable for being a snake and call snake shit out for what it is. But there is still a majority of consumers to preferred to project onto the project the things that are not there and pretend that they are for the sake of remaining positive and blissfully ignorant so I was too I guess not hurt their view of the game? Or something like that. I really don’t understand it honestly but it’s there.
Critical feedback, and criticism, and individuals who aren’t being biased but are just willing to see things for what they are in call shit out for what it is are such a needed voice in today’s culture and especially in the games industry. I don’t know if people are just so addicted to an instant gratification addiction that they are willing to be manipulated so easily by mediocre placebos or whatever, but we need honest criticism if we’re going to achieve high levels and standards of greatness. That’s just how it’s done plain and simple. Participation trophies and pats on the back and remaining positive about every fucking thing and toning down all feedback to have a positive spin, does not help anyone or anything and definitely does not help the project. It enables bad decision making and behavior from decision-makers or reviewer‘s or consumers.

I personally do not hate this game. However I am honest enough to see shit for what it is and call that shit out. I hate that leader ship has not been held accountable and probably won’t be held accountable for the decision-making that they made with the development of these two different games. The original RPG version based off of Mike pond smith RPG world and then the current unfinished rushed Johnny’s silver hand action adventure story game that we currently have. Because to me as a consumer I see the potential of white was supposed to be, of what progress had shown in that 48 minute demo of that RPG game that was intended… And I can’t help but be so disappointed that I will not be able to immerse myself in that world. Because that RPG game was rooted in immersion the way that Witcher three was. That was clearly shown. This linear Johnny silver hand action adventure story is fine but it’s a different genre and it cannot immerse you in the world beyond the main linear narrative story. It’s why the genres are different to begin with. In our PG transports you into a world. A action adventure game has the ability to immerse you but only within the confinement of the main arching story, outside of that story it’s just a sandbox. And that’s just the reality and it’s so disheartening. I look forward to them finishing this action adventure game that we have some time next year which will give this game the development cycle of around probably three years… But I look forward to more so the paid expansions which had the potential to offer a standalone content which could be in the genre design of an RPG as opposed to an action adventure game. Don’t know if they will do that but that potential is there. But the design we have for this game is a design and you can’t change that. But there was so much bad decision making from leader ship with this project that they have swept under the rug, generically apologize for without trying to be called out for lies and manipulation on their part because they knew the decisions they were making when they made them without telling consumers for the sake of consumers pre-orders and sales with their justified expectations, but I just want accountability and honesty with a project. You do not have to just hate it, that’s not what critical feedback and criticism is or is about. It’s being blunt and blatantly Honest and just calling shit out for what it is. No rose-colored glasses, no soft padding, it’s acknowledging the potential, demanding to reach that level of greatness, and holding accountability. That’s what I want

  9. I am having a blast in this game, since i didnt follow this game since its announcement i guess i could not get dissapointed like others. Night City is amazing, story could be better explained in my opinion. For example during Arasaka chip mission when Gozaburo appears it seems to me that i was supposed to know who he is or who Arasaka are in general. Side Jobs and Gigs are very well done. Only thing that i would like is to be able to play it from third person perspective and not first person.

  10. These are good news! For 30$ Cyberpunk 2077 is an ok deal on PC. The main campaign, some side quests (Peralez, River questline, etc) and the music alone worth that much.

As I've said many times before, the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 is fine. Not great, but a fun experience (main and side quests mostly). Had no real proplems with the bugs, never had a hard lock. AI and open world side activities needs a lot of improvement. Far Cry styled "bandit camps" were the worst part for me. That's after 2 playthroughs and 150+ hours.
