  1. Im a simple man, I have a PS5 and an RTX 3050 laptop, my laptop is good it can olay RDR2 at Xbox One X equivalent settings on 1080p but not Cyberpunk, since this update I will happily play on PS5 👍

  2. Graphics have gone backwards on Series X. Massive amounts of shimmer now at a lower target resolution and stuttering framerate. I'm playing on a 4k 43 inch screen. Also, items in my inventory are gone, such as Bounce back which I had stockpiled about 70 of has been reset to 2. Hopefully there's a way around this.

  3. PS5 player here, seems like theres been more framerate dips and inconsistencies since 2.0 dropped. Certain areas of the game get to around 30ish on performance mode, also encountered screen tearing when the frames drop… are they really gonna not fix this at all since its the "final update"?

I prefer framerate over graphics/resolution and i noticed the graphics look better, but they were already pretty good… idk, kinda annoyed. I mean its not like the game is unplayable or anything but the frame does drop at a pretty noticeable level in some areas, and it has hindered my gameplay a bit in those instances.

  4. I enjoy how cocky PC gamers are, I do PC game myself but mostly for MMOs, sure we get better quality but you spend 4000$ or more on your PC to get that beautiful quality, the consoles are cheaper and come pretty damn close to PC quality at ultra, the only thing they are behind on is that beautiful raytracing. I'm one of those guys even when playing on PC prefer gameplay over visual quality, a lot of people will argue that but a lot of people will agree with me also.

  5. As a Series S player, when you said you couldn't tell the difference at 4:45 I was honestly surprised. Probably becasue I'm stuck on worse graphics, but the differences were very clear to me. Not clear like a night and day difference or anything like that, but the new shadows still seemed much better imo.

Though I do definitely agree with you about 60fps being more inpactful than some better shadows. Even if I had the option I wouldn't switch raytracing on lol

  6. In performance mode, the resolution has been really hard lowered, everything is much more blurred and washed out, and then the frame rate is partly worse than before. Hope FSR 3 brings us back the dynamic 4K resolution and resolve/improved the flickering caused by FSR 2.1. Let's see when it appears. You can already see the difference in the video, it's funny that some don't see it, they probably sit a mile/Km/h from the TV. Better are the light sources. Which now partly shine better, but otherwise rather aggravated. In my opinion.

  7. I play my PC with a 2080ti on my Samsung QLED amoled tv and I can tell you that PC is far supperior even on 1080p ultrah let alone ultra with ray tracing and specfically ray traced reflections and lighting.. I play it at 1080p ultra with ray traacing on ultra and DLSS on quality and get 90ish fps average and even 55ish in the market behind the burger building, which is the most heavy and demanding part of the game. That's literally the worst case scenario for cyberpunk 2077. Mostly it's 80-90 fps.

These consoles are focusing to much on resolution in my honest opinion. I know that they could have a ray traced lighting mode at close to 60 if they just put the game at 1080p. Could it be ultra or path traced like PC… No. But they could put it on medium ray traced lighting and the game would still look great. But….. They need that "4K gaming" moniker I guess for consoles.

  8. Obviously a 2-4k$ pc is gonna run the game great. Im most impressed with the PS5 version, its just fantastic especially when you take into consideration its hardware. (i dont have a xbox so i cant say about that). IT was unplayable when it came out, i gota refund. I got the game again this morning and played all day in the Raytracing/res mode which is 30 fps, its incredible. the frame pacing is so TIGHT i forget its 30 fps and its visually stunning. I wish it was always this way, it sucks that the games rep is so damaged becuase many will never touch it again, which sucks becuase its so good. Devs have NO excuse anymore, im tired of ps5 games that cant push resolution the way this one does. Its so good.
