  1. So, in a summary, better textures and in some places different lighting compared to previous version. Personally, I don't see a point for playing in ray tracing mode. I don't know, maybe I should spend more time in the game (+5 hours) in order to record better clips for comparison, but differences are so small between performance and ray tracing modes, that it's not worth to sacrafice 60FPS framerate. But still, here and there you can spot some framedrops. Ray tracing mode is solid 30FPS.

  2. Sucks that they don't use the full PC ray tracing on 30 FPS mode. It's only limited to shadows and some lighting would have been nice to see the really gorgeous ray traced reflections like the PC has.

  4. Resolution of certain textures looks better, HDR balancing is way better, more NPCs on the streets, longer draw distances. These are just some things I see. I'm now playing for the first time on the Series X and so far it's been a good experience!

  5. i was toying with the update a bit lastnight after work, raytracing definitely adds some extra depth to scenes, though i found most of the advantage to be in cutscenes etc. When your doing the nomad starter where you and jackie rip into the garage after getting shot at, toggle between perf and raytraced modes (can be done without skipping or restarting the dialogue that occurs there) you begin to notice specifically how it was implemented and used here. all in all though, its looking better but i still dont see it as being anything ground breaking either. neither mode actually reaches 4k, after double checking to make sure film grain was off, there was still far to much digital noise showing evidence of heavy upscaling usage here, likely fsr. that for me was a bit of a let down, was really hoping to have a nice crisp native 4k, or at least closer to… option in some form. I hope they do further tweaking, maybe add a 3rd performance mode similar to what dying light has done, dropping RT in favor of boosting resolution.

  6. Whenever I get an xsx I'm playing this on performance mode for sure.
It's funny how even with YouTube compression in 1080p quality on a phone, this video looks so crisp compared to my memory of playing this on an Xbox one s

  7. Esse vídeo mostra q o problema é a engine do jogo, ps caras simplesmente não conseguem acertar. Tá mais bonito, óbvio q tá, mas de resto, cadê os npcs realmente vivendo suas vidas como foi prometido? Cade o metrô? A polícia inteligente? Os bairros de ricos, onde as coisas ficam diferentes dos bairros de pobres, os npcs parece de GTA 3. É uma vergonha (pelo q eles prometeram). Eu ainda vejo gente, nos comentários, elogiando e passando pano! Fala sério!

  8. Bought it today on Series X. First time playing and I really like it. I definitely prefer Performance mode, at 60 FPS, over Ray Tracing. The graphics difference in RT is negligible and 30 FPS gives me a migraine.

  9. I’ve been looking for a video like this. Thanks! Honestly, I’m pretty underwhelmed. I can see higher resolution assets in the 1.5 version, and a few scenes where the ray tracing is noticeable, but it’s a meager improvement compared to what I was hoping for. Ah well.

  10. I literally can't find a single visual difference in "Ray Tracing" mode other than cutting the framerate in half. ALL reflections are still only SSR, no light bounces or anything like that, mirrors or mirrored surfaces still don't provide any true reflections, compared to RT being enabled in other games like Guardians of the Galaxy, Control, Hellblazer and Observer, in those titles it is immediately evident the difference, but in cyberpunk I'm calling BS, there is NO actual Ray Tracing going on here!

  11. Should get a play on this on both ps5 and xsx in next couple days and should give me an accurate comparison with my p.c experience.
A lot of these visual improvement are lost when in game because of movement so I would personally target a solid frame rate over eye candy.
Even on p.c at 3440×1440 I lock my frame rate at a solid 60 over 75/85 fluctuations.

  12. Does anyone else experience a green tint on the screen when playing? It's incredibly annoying, especially in when dark areas, my whole screen has a horrible green tint which is made even worse by the effect added when crouched.
