  1. Actions will speak louder than words, but as with any situation like this, I'm hoping for a strong comeback. We'll see how CD Projekt Red makes it up to the many understandably disgruntled players.

  2. Warner Bros published this game. CD Projekt Red deserves all of the criticism they are getting, rightfully so, however, I do not think they are the main reason this game was released before it was finished. WB are the "money" behind the game. They are likely the ones who made the advertising deals with other companies (Rockstar Energy, OnePlus, etc.) And those deals have time-frames. This was probably more to do with WB meeting deadlines they never should have made, rather than CDPR incompetence. It's at least worth looking into

  3. I say Don't Forgive or Forget, be petty and memebash and openly Mock C.D.P.R. for years to come and never let them forget what they did. Consequences and repercussions need to be reinforced PERIOD!

  4. I am sorry but they dont deserve to make a "come back". I am so sick and tired of gamers buying games that ARENT. FINISHED. This one is included. Every. Single. Time. That people continue to buy a game and wait for the patches….it encourages this to continue. This game wasnt finished. Dont fucking buy it. Dont buy it only to wait for patches. If nobody buys the game, then the industry will have to begin to finish their games first. It's because of complete and total MORONS that this is continuing. It is a problem of OUR, THE CONSUMERS, own making. It's time to wisen the fuck up. I am so sick of it.

  5. No the devs didn't choose to still release it on the previous gen because they thought it was good enough…..they clearly wanted to reach the giant consumer base that those older consols still have!! Tha k GOD Sony pulled it off of their store. These people (the execs) dont deserve anything.

  6. i was telling my friends.. at this point we're so used to having broken games at launch.. the thing about Cyberpunk it has content so at this point id rather have a broken game with content than a broken game with no content..

  7. Honestly, buying CDPR stock at this price. I feel like they made big mistakes recently but they also blatantly care about thier reputation and understand that thier success has been based on that.

  8. What pisses me off is people are acting like this is EA. The bugs and glitches aren't that bad, and I'm playing on my PS Potato. Knowing that I would be playing it on my PS4 I had no illusion as to what the graphics would look like, knowing all along I will eventually play on a system optimal for it. You also need to consider how fucked they were with covid. At the end of the day they will do right by their customers, and fuck you all for acting and coming down as hard as you would on EA, grow the fuck up!

  9. Well people busted their balls get mad and pissed saying "Release Release RELEASE FFS RELEASEEEEEE" well, they did what peeps asked and here you go. It is like banging on the table "MOOOOOM I AM HUNGRY!! She saying it will be ready soon, and then more banging till mom gets pissed and puts a runny half-cooked unedible mix of egg and whatever in front of you saying Bon appetite"

  10. Jesus they tried optomizing for PC so why couldnt they spend more time smoothing things out for them atleast? I play on PC so im kind of expecting a game studio borking optimization, but for consoles? sounds like mismanagement

  11. Why the heck were all the reviews so stellar prior to launch? Including YongYea's review. Yes, I know it's better on pc in terms of bugs. But bugs is not the only problem by far! PCGamer's was the closest-to-reality review out there. and ironically it was disliked because of that.

  12. The worst part is that this happens to CD Project Red because of their good reputation, and not in spite of it.

Bad to the core companies like EA and Ubisoft are never affected like this, because their evil actions are expected.
They really shouldn't be. It's a real shame.

Additionally, someone needs to be fired, because the managerial problems have been pointed out years ago already.
The management has been a problem for a long time, and they were the the problem when The Witcher launched as well.

If I was an investor, I'd demand replacements.

  13. Been playing on a base ps4 and after playing I've experienced a few crashes, and the only noticeable glitches I've got were when looking in the mirrors and other small glitches or late textures took a couple seconds to load so I didn't mind that. I'm very optimistic and excited for updates!

  14. I've been playing CP2077 on my PC (and GeForce NOW for ray tracing) and the game feels like a Beta — or paid 'early access' in this case. I keep running into UI, sound, graphics, and scripting issues that have me asking: "Did anyone who's played a modern 'story-based action adventure with RPG elements ' actually play test this game?"

While the game has serious technical issues, my larger concern is the actual wonky design of the systems within the game. It's missing BASIC quality of life elements that have been ironed out by other, similar games, over the last 10 years. They're not reinventing the wheel — it's like their version of the wheel is a hexagon… because they forgot (or never knew) what a wheel looks like. It's odd.

Just a few (of MANY really annoying) examples: purchasing cosmetic items from a vendor with no pre-purchase preview option? Crafting/item creation with no count or feedback that the item has been successfully created? And my favorite: getting stuck crouching during a conversation because the "skip" and "crouch" buttons are mapped to the same (non-remappable) key. This feels like place-holder stuff waiting for final assets post Beta.

  15. It's a beautiful game on the PS5, but the physics are shit (when there are no floating spray cans or HGVs, ashtrays galore when nobody in the game smokes and the NPCs in mission areas are uncommonly knowledgeable). I am familiar with AAA game launches and what they have become due to EA and WB so not surprised. I'm sure it'll be the game we were promised in 6 months.
