Spider-Man 2 > Any of these games
Alan Wake 2 is the most realistic game ever i have seen, then RDR2 and TLOU2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator new. Avatar looks not bad.
Next winners will be GTA 6, STALKER 2, METRO next game or something new
in my humble opinion Avatar for the scale the vegetation ecc is unbelievable
PLAYS BEST ON PS5!!!!!!!! MEGA L FOR THE GAYBOX SERIES X FANQUEERS!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar duh, cyberpunk is a xbox one title.
Alan Wake doesn’t do it for me. Cyberpunks pop in / pop out with traffic and LoD is very distracting. Surprisingly Avatar is very tight on the graphics and extremely dense / colorful and beautiful in all aspects without too many buggy distractions
The fact that avatar can achieve those graphics while being seamless open world truly makes it far superior above those 2 games in terms of optimization and graphic fidelity.
People keep hyping up Alan wake 2 graphics let me say this again. Cyberpunk path tracing looks better, Robocop environmental detail looks better & overall the best graphically looking game on pc to date is a plagues tale requiem.
The three worst games I played in a while. But pretty graphics go brrrrr, I guess…
So it now seems that best graphics is reduce to have dense vegetation on a wide scale, and nothing else.
Just ignore absolutely every detail about it, be it characters, interiors, water or even the obvious massive polygons on the forest floor that you guys showcased.
The three 800p musketeers returns. These 3 games look like garbage unless you're playing on high-end pc. Pathtracing is not impressive it's easier to make and only relies on brute force. Great looking volumetric clouds, fake caustics, dense interactive foliage etc running at high res and 60fps on fixed hardware is much more impressive.
I gotta give it to Alan Wake II. Avatar's water, reflections and low poly assets took me out of the game. Cyberpunk looks great as well, but nearly every aspect of Alan Wake II consistently blew me away.
Much of this is subjective in my view, although I understand the arguments based around lighting and environmental density.
I am quite happy with games like "Super Mario Bros. Wonder" myself.
In terms of "best graphics" – this is wide open to interpretation and taste.
I have a friend who flips his lid when an indie game manages to capture prime 8 bit aesthetics.
Out of the 3 games mentioned, I like Cyberpunk, just for the style and setting.
These guys are the poster children for not getting laid!
You guys need to try more games. This list is TRASH!!! Ark Ascended and Talos Principles 2 shits on your "top 3". But no surprise from the Remedy fanboys (DF).
Cyberpunk beats them all this year because the scope of that game whilst achieving photorealistic path traced graphics is unmatched.
The only game I can see topping it is Grand Theft Auto VI, but we will have to see Rockstar's RT implementation, because at this moment in time, CD Projekt Red's is second to none…
Avatar all the way, I've never played a game where I'm interested in seeing the whole map. It like getting to a new level on mario when I was 12. Just amazing. Bravo ubisoft. Just don't make another far cry.
I just dove into Alan Wake 2 a week or so ago but haven’t had much time to play it, maybe an hour total. I will say that I’m blown away even on Series X. While Series X lacks the power that the top PCs can achieve, the game still looks stunning. Performance is amazing, rock solid frame rates from what I’ve seen so far, no noticeable dips or performance woes but again very limited time invested just what I’ve noticed so far.
Graphically, my only problem with AW2 is its at-a-glance visuals doesn't correspond to its spec requirements
Lords of the Fallen (PC), Ghostrunner 2 (PC), and Dead Space remake (PC) should be in this list. Some of the best benchmarks of 2023
