Works as developer intended
this game will probably be done by 2077
I enjoyed it on day one. Could it be better at being open world? Yeah it sure as hell could. But for what it delivered it was great, unless one was experiencing bugs (I've literally just had blocked bugged elevators in one quest… that's it) or was PS4 players. Good story driven adventure game with great side quests and decent characters. It could've been so much more and potential was criminally wasted but at the end of the day it was worth the release price for me. One of very few single player games in recent years that I've managed to finish without getting bored out of my goddamn mind halfway through. Oh, 1080Ti here.
The cruising bit got me on the floor!
Well structured, solid critique and reasoning. Love to see it! 👀
I like the distinction in platforms, it gives more insight into the full picture!
I've never played the game but the city is giving me major akira vibes…
Thanks for this.
On the bright side, it was a good idea for CD Projekt Red to hire modders to fix the game.
Maybe certain Canadian company should do something similar (or at least being more in contact with certain community).
Even before the updates, my laptop was able to run the game fine, and I run a GTX 980. All I did was add it to my firewall's list, and lowered the crowd density in game. Sure there were bugs still, but nothing game breaking.
I played it on launch, on my 1050ti. Story was very nice, characters were unique. I did everything, but I always felt like interaction was one sided in the game. The game did not respond to my actions as it should have. Did not encountered many game breaking bugs, but saw so much unfinished content; The more I played, the more it became apparent that this game was not completed.
Conclusion: Playing cuberpunk is like having sex with a brain dead person. You may enjoy it at first, but the more time passes by, you realise WTF am I doing 😂 .
50% off on Steam right now.
Sup
I was hyped for the game over a decade ago.
The Irony of all this is that I only encountered 3 bugs in my entired PC playthrough.
1. My Car decidin only its front wheels will stay on the road with the rest of the car hanging below the geometry.
2. The mission you have to break a glass and climb through would launch you 50 meters backwards.
3. The sh*ty NPC system which is universal lol(T-posing and entire crowds pulling an Ivara cloak ability if you look away😅)
Seeing how shitty was the lunch of GTA Definitive edition…. errrrrr… well, i guess we could Cyberpunk 2077 another fair shot.
"I doNt hAvE thIs bUgs whEn I pLaYed it. yoUr copY of tHE gAme anD youR maChinE juSt s*ck"
-Probably that one guy who thinks minesweeper has the best graphics.
6:20 Oh Nice. Im still on a 1070 too. Using a first gen Ryzen 1700X.😅
when i played this game before i actually did encounter the 0% utilization on the gpu, although i chalked it up to be a bug in task manager not knowing that the gpu was being used. i had other games also do the same thing but they were definitely using the gpu because theres no way my cpu was rendering the game that well (i say well, but it was barely reaching 30 fps on a gtx 1060)
i had my fair share of bugs, some definitely game breaking, such as not being able to progress panam's story because getting in a truck didnt let it move forward (she was supposed to be the one driving). i eventually fixed it by reloading the save i made right before the encounter. it also happened in some other side missions causing them to be impossible to finish. all in all, i would say that
-despite the bugs –i enjoyed my playthrough of this game.I think I had 1 moment when I was driving, I glitched out and flew a few yards. After that I never had any issues. But I'm glad I waited for this game to get patched heavily before getting it. Did choose the Nomad choice and enjoyed ever part of it especially since I play on the PS4.
As an XB1 player, I've had no more problems than you might get from any other video game. Incredible graphics, too. Bought it for nothing on PS4Pro, last week, and it looks and feels awful.
I need this in 3rd person. Sorry that's just my preference
To be honest cyberpunk 2077 is the game that destroyed the idea of me getting hyped for any game before I actually check its reviews some gameplay and walkthrough parts then I would choose to hype and purchase or not. It is good that they fixed it kinda but that took very long.
Dont forget the best glitch, the "open fly" lol
For anyone that doesnt know basically your characters junk would hang through clothes
I had a lot of quest bugs, but not many visual issues running on a 1080ti at launch… CP really likes to hog system resources though. I did end up upgrading to RTX not too long ago and now with everything turned on, I’ve noticed a lot more glitches. It’s like their engine can’t really handle it either way. Tons of power in my current rig, I get great frame rates and the game can look quite stunning with everything turned up… But now I get the car flipping, random explosions and noticeable “T” posing. None of that with the 1080ti, but then I didn’t run max settings and RTX either.
Remember when CDPR downgraded the Witcher 3 and kept saying it's for optimizing the performance of the game, after that kept delaying the game till GeForce introduced their new GPUs and CDPR announced that you need the new GPUs to be able to play the Witcher 3 at its highest graphical setting.
Remember the Witcher 3 bugs?
Remember when CDPR made fun of other developers for their mess up?
CDPR always talked big and delivered small, but this time they got the money and ran away.
DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY.
It corrupted my hard drive in my ps4
Lost 2900 hrs of mhw data ….
I've been wanting to boot it back up on my ps4. I might just do that and report back.
