  1. the problem for me is i already completed everything there is to do in the game before the first patch was done. so i dowloaded the ps5 version. it looks good but, i bought the 4 apartments and that was it. not much at all.

  2. Oblivion and Skyrim had far more games and crashes (at least on console) at launch. The Witcher 3 was also a mess for months after launch–I got the infinite load screen and multiple crashes. The game shouldn't have been ported to and marketed for last-gen though. The Witcher 3 had trouble maintaining a locked 30 fps in the cities, so not sure why anyone thought a far more demanding game was going to somehow effectively on the game hardware.

Also car steering is sort of ass. Motorcycles are far more maneuverable. Your options are to use one of the car handling mods or switch to a controller for driving.

  3. What you said at 10:30 is the most accurate thing I’ve heard. The Witcher 3 was a SLOG to play through because of how long it was, but it had some incredible story telling in any quest or side quest you did, and it got so much praise for it.

They said they were gonna make CP shorter and they did, a lot , at least for the main story quest, but there is so much side content that is so good (and some of which, like Judy’s, is detrimental to building the world they wanted). I feel like a lot of people skipped the side content in this game when it first gsme out but these aren’t (generally) simple fetch quests. They give you reason for doing this, there’s lore surrounding what the characters were doing before you got to the area, and there’s more than one way to go approach missions.

I truly believe this game was just bandwagon’d. I also feel like a lot of the bugs were honestly due to covid, and working from home, not gonna mention having CEO’s and stockholders probably breathing down their necks about when it’s gonna be done.

    Good game, 9/10
