Panam’s Romance continues in Cyberpunk 2077 when she calls up V to ask for help. V accepts and again travels to the Aldecaldos camp. Upon arriving, V hears word that the deal between the Aldecaldos and Biotechnica seems to have fallen through. He seeks out Panam, who’s in the middle of a heated discussion with Saul and Mitch. Once Saul storms off, Panam and Mitch explain that Saul is against their plan to attack a Militech convoy to steal a Basilisk (basically a tank). While the whole job seems to good to be true, his feelings toward Panam lead him to join the group of nomads on their mission. They head out to hijack an old train engine in order to blockade and ambush the convoy. After getting the train working, Panam pulls V aside to talk. She initially asks V why he’s helping her. When V admits that it’s not for the money, Panam finally relaxes her guard enough to let V know how she feels about him. The two then rejoin the rest of the ‘Caldos for some downtime by a campfire to wait until the convoy arrives. The next morning, the ambush is set and a firefight breaks out. V and the ‘Caldos are successful and return to camp with the basilisk. However, Saul is not happy when they return and proceeds to get into a yelling match with Panam. Saul eventually resigns to let Panam do as she pleases. V reassures Panam that if she ever needs anything at all that he’s just a call away.
