I’ve found a community hack that was released by someone who knows what they’re doing (more so than the game developers). It lets users with older CPUs like me play the Cyberpunk 2077 without crashes in the same places, like the Corpo Office or leaving the bar in Street Kid. The key is to not use something called AVX instructions, which pre-2013 CPUs don’t understand. Cyberpunk was compiled assuming all CPUs would understand this instruction set, but clearly that’s not the case. This patch skips those instructions, making older CPUs happy.

I tried the patch and it crashes on boot now lol fyi i have a x5680 @ 4.4ghz it plays everything else i throw at it. i kinda want to keep it until the next intel drops as its over 10 years old now lol

It crashes on 6700k, it crashes on 5600x, it crashes on 10900k. It doesn't matteer. Now the 1.05 patch hit, it crashes more now than it ever did!
It appears Version 1.05 has addressed the AVX issues, and CD Projekt Red have finally removed those instructions. It seems to work fine on my system without the Nexusmod workaround. Here's their full changelog for 1.05: https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/37166/hotfix-1-05

My game is crashing every time i look in a mirror 🙁
hi, after followed the instruction by yours now it crashed at the launch point and unable to proceed to the menu. And I reinstalled the game again and use the original launcher it just crash directly. Please help to solve my issue./

okay please help, i'm using i5 3570 , my game never even launched it just crashes and shows the flatlined, i have the crack version downloaded from fitgirl now from another site, the file in the video i tried and it says script validation error, what the duck do i do now
