In today’s Cyberpunk video I will be walking you through the most important aspects of the Technical Ability attribute, Crafting. This skill indirectly increases your damage output along with saving you a lot of time and money along the way. I will be showing you how I go about crafting, the skills I chose, and how to make the most of the tree. Hopefully you find this guide helpful, if you do please leave a like and subscribe for more!

WHY CRAFTING IS THE BEST SKILL TREE IN CYBERPUNK 2077 | How To Craft Rare Mods | Crafting Guide

Tech is one of the most powerful attributes imo. The ability to install the most powerful mods and craft the highest dps gear often puts you on par if not surpass the bonuses of other skill trees.
Then consider that you normally have enough points to max out another stat and then some before you max out.
I had this skill tree on the 20th level and it ended up with me having a one shot one kill legendary Burya revolver (or however you spell it), legendary Overwatch and a super strong legendary smart pistol. Definitely was worth it.
You find all these frigging weapons in game. Tech is pointless. Reflex, cool and body all day to be unstoppable
You only need 1 point in workshop perk because of the way it works. It calculates the bonus when you put your cursor on the items, it's really weird that they thought this was good. So all you have to do is move your cursor back and forth till it shows you'll get more components. This is specially good when you disassemble in bulk, for example, when you make hundreds of Maxdocs mk3, the difference between 3 and 5 epic upgrade components really adds up when you get it for ALL of them.
So for the sor-22 for example, what are the best stats to roll? Crit chance and crit damage?
I was told bully mods don't stack. Why does have like 3 or 4? I'm so confused.
Just use the dupe glitch on epic healing items or grenades till you have a few thousands of them. Dismantle just one of it then and you're instant lvl up cause you're getting as much xp as if you would have recycled all of them. Repeat till max lvl. I went from crafting 10 to 18 in about 2 minutes like that.
Ok dude nice video, but does it work like the weapons level I cant get the hang of it I mean if lets say I get the lizzie pistol when im level 9 and would like to keep it for like 15 level I cant do that becouse with every level it will get even more and more usless and the more I upgrade it the more it will cost right? So basiclly I cant hold on to a weapon more then like 5 levels at most.
i thought the crit stat didnt stack if theres more than one on the same piece of gear
Thank you :), this really helpful.
Do you learn these mods for items weapons and gear from breaking those things down so you learn them in your crafting tree when you break them down?
I just dont like hiw you cant change your skills
Thanks boo
I really think you should just be able to craft without having to spec into a tree. It limits your builds by pretty much ensuring that you always have to spend at least 18 points into tech no matter what build you're going for.
How is it after 1.3?
Hello. New to Cyberpunk. I thought you only get 50 Attribute Points, this totals 59. Did I miss something?
crafting components are the smallest problem – you just buy them 😀 then craft bunch of leg/epic guns and sell that, youll allways make way way more than you had to pay for components.. after that you'll have enought money to buy as many mats as you want 😉 Once you get into it money and components are basicaly limitless.Actually i would say its too much easy to get money and resources in this game. Anyway i go 18 crafting + 18 int – because Visual Cortex Support and Limbic System Enhancment 🙂
realized 3/4th way through the video you headset is about 6 inches over your head lol
I don't think you can wear as many crit mods in 1.5+. Max mods is MUCH lower, and mods are specific to clothing types — meaning crit mods may only be available on one or a couple of clothing types.
The problem with Technical Ability attribute, Crafting is very time consuming and is not worth it because at the end you will be very underpower i say invest those attributes points in to body/reflexes/cool/Intelligence. For Corpo go with /Intelligence/Cool/reflexes and maybe body depends on the class, for Nomad Technical Ability/body/reflexes/cool and Street kid body/reflexes/cool. Just like other RPG games you have 3 main classes Corpo = mage/stealth, Street Kid = melee fighter, Ranger with Technical Abilites = Nomad
In Skyrim I loved being the blacksmith! Best play through. I was unstoppable. Same deal here. Crafting is always extremely satisfying. I mean we play to get the coolest drops, right? Why not make and upgrade them?
Upgrading gear gives a boatload of crafting xp
Once you hit level 50 and made every single thing, you can Respec to allocate those points into the Tech tree to make the ultimate Lizzy build which dominates in Don’t Fear The Reaper Ending.
Investing into tech doesn't necessarily lower your damage potential. Remember to use grenades, make a lot of grenades, and minmax the gear you get your hands on. Tech, or crafting at least, is also the only tree with persistent effects even if you respec: Once you reach max level and max level gear, you can make your kit before reallocating your skills somewhere else, or simply roll back a little to still enjoy the crafted weapon bonuses, which are almost as good as the bonuses of the respective weapon's tree.
I can't get technical ability to level
I hate that I have to put 18 whole attribute points into it just so I can craft one weapon that I like and now I can't get the perks I wanted to use with the weapon
I knew I wasn't wasting my time in this tree. thanks 👍
Boo! This skill tree sucks!!!
Time to make the iron daggers. Donut cap on…cyberpunk Donut cap I meant
CDPR changed things w/ 1.5-1.6. ALL clothing items no longer have same mod slots as before. Now usually they have 1 mod slot inherent to the Item and one open slot or 2 open slots.
In addition, ALL mod levels have to match or not exceed the Item level AND go on an Item type.
The level matching and use changes apply to weapons also.
Pre saving and reloading on a high-quality item still works but you will still be bound by the new rules and iconic weapons will only change a small feature like crit chance/damage.
Upgrading items is tied to leveling. Once at lvl 50 you can craft and item but can't upgrade until they raise the max level
Bulk crafting was later added.
Guys headset is meant for people with afros or cone heads. What is going on with that
I wouldn’t call it the best perk tree but it certainly has its advantages, making money incredibly easy is one of them.
