The latest Cyberpunk 2077 2.1 update really changed how Adam Smasher deals with V in all endings and even gives V a hell of a fight in the secret ending (Don’t Fear The Reaper – VERY HARD) which I considered as Vs NIGHTMARE on his way to secure his life. In this video, I did some minor changes in my attribute and perk focus where I intend to defeat Adam Smasher with Katana & Projectile Launch System. I hope you guys will enjoy.

  1. They definitely improved Adam Smasher in 2.1 update. In fact, HE ONE-HIT ME in my first attempt so if you chooms noticed in this playthrough, I immediately dashed away to avoid that kill LOL.
    Though you could easily match him up as long as you are maxed out in terms of attributes and perks with the right combination of weapons and cyberware but honestly, HE AIN'T EASY to defeat compared to the first release until patch 2.02.   2. sadly its still the same, we needed him to actually have animations like the Kurt Hansen one, maybe he could throw us across the room idk, he's still a boring and simple ass fight

  3. I'm glad they did put effort into tweaking this fight, that being said it's not much of an improvement and that edgerunner sandy trail just to appease the weebs is ridiculous. Thankfully there are mods that can tweak this fight and make Adam an absolute monster. Kinda sad tho that one person can do what an entire funded department can't.

  4. He actually counters Sandevistan! Thats honestly a good improvement.
    His health and damage output has been increased substantially, on top of what was added and done to Smasher over the last few years of updates, and has a new extra phase in his boss fight.
    He's also alot more aggressive in terms of movement. This is a much better fight than the original, and GOD LIKE compared to 1.0.
    People are expecting this to be almost like a dark souls boss, but with how broken you can become in the game that's not really going to happen, but it's very good and a genuinely fun challenging boss now.

  5. Very cool, but they could have given him all three operating systems, instead of just sandevistan. Imagine he pops berserk and you have to emp him or you don't do damage to him, or that when the soldiers spawn, he uses them as antennas like the other runners and you have to kill them quick or he hacks you

  6. Whole fight isn't that much harder. But… you can't let yourself get hit. Playing on very hard, even simple arm cannon shot deals a lot of dmg (for my V with aroung 1200 armor and 50% for 60% dmg reduction, I've taken around 100-200 dmg per hit). I've died once, when he knocked me down and instantly triggered that big aoe attack. Before 2.0 and introducing Dash for V, that fight as it is now, would be quite tough.

    Whole fight would be better, if in phase one (when Adam has both arms) he would use Mk. 31 HMG or his iconic smart shotgun.

  7. One bad game design is the full screen red effect. How are you supposed to know when you are health damaged when the full screen turn red with an ability. deep purple or something would had be a better choice so the screen turning red would still be noticeable. I hate to have to focus on health bar in video game it kill the immersion . or add arms/hands upgrade for it to show a life status the way Dead Space do, it's a great idea from an old game now, but it's rarely used while being more lore friendly and less intrusive.
