  1. on comrades hammer your dps went down because your lowered your crit and crit chance by a lot when you switched your crit mods to damage. also you prob have both tech weapon and handgun perks that increase your damage and they seem to stack.
what this tells me is that they stack. and the dps calculation is weighted toward critting. so now the real question is: does 65% weapon crit and 35% armor crit equal 100%? or is it a 35% increase to the 65%?

  2. You are 100% correct, the pistol are effected more because you have mulitpliers and addition. so your multipliers are being added to what you are adding if that make sense. If I am not mistaken, the game takes all additions first, then adds in multipliers, then percent's. Also for the crit one, it might be a glitch and it is supposed to work but in practice it doesnt. if you add in and get past 100% crit I do not believe it will actually proc a crit with every hit, I am curious if you have tested that

  3. It looks like Damage is being changed on many levels. Base damage, skills bonuses, Attackes Per second. Combining these would show you why Pistol DMG scales high. And Shotgun damage is a multiplier of 10 base with a 1.2 Att per sec multiplier. Too many variables, its now somewhat like Diablo 3's dmg system with many multipliers/crit/critdmg all combined. Some of their systems needs to be certainly cleaned up though and given more breakdowns so you can make more informed choices.

    Great video!

  4. With the zero drag mods, it's more useful in combat, when you're dodging and "warping" towards the target. It matters on the accuracy TO you from the target attacking you. (At least that's supposed to be how it works. Who knows if it's hooked up correctly…. yet.)

  5. DPS and Damage Per Shot are calculated including the effects of other mods, like crit chance, crit damage, fire rate or reload time, effect application, and whatever else you can think of. So yeah, replacing one mod with another may seem to increase your damage per shot and at the same time lower DPS in some weird manner. Or the other way round for that matter. You'd really have to test this on unmodded weaponry to see where things end up when adding mods. Well, and the GUI obviously still feeds us wrong data on a lot of stuff. So overall, just grab a gun, shoot stuff, and have fun. The game's relatively easy anyway, any build works, any equipment of roughly the right level works. It's probably toughest for people who keep their intelligence, technical and cool at only 3 points throughout the game, since they'll miss out on Netrunning (overpowered), Stealth (overpowered starting at 5 or 6 points already) and Crafting.

  6. he is 100% wrong about the armor mods i just crafted up a ton of armor mods ( they are not duped mods I don't use that exploit ) I put 4 green armadillo mods on a legendary shirt 2 green ones worked the armor went up but once i put a 3rd green one on the armor went down. Think this is the last video of his I watch the last one was not helpful and this one he is just giving out wrong info.

  7. first rule of testing is to remove as many variables as possible. get rid of all mods except the mod you are testing. get rid of all perks. use a low level character so you don't get bonuses from attribute points.

the way to test bully is to put in 1 bully mod and record 1000 shots and then put in 20 bully mods and fire 1000 shots. if bully did stack your average should increase massively because you added 600% crit damage.

  8. See with the zero drag its not about moving quickly that matters its that in some builds you get more dmg the faster you move and that is why ppl are using this mod. its not for the actual moving fater but its for the dmg buff you get when you move faster.

  9. This is why I just stack armadillo mods in most of my slots. I also did one panacea. That along with my cyberware makes me immune to burn, bleed, shock, and poison. Works really well.

Hopefully CDPR can get the UI to display things properly in the future so this stuff is easier to figure out.

  10. Crunch only increases base damage. Your DPS went down because you took away pacifier and bully to stack crunch. Since you Crit less, your DPS, which factors in the probability of crits, went down

  11. Crunch adds to base damage, from which your crit damage is calculated. The higher your base damage the more effective your crit damage is. At least thats how it works with most games. I reckon CP77 would be the same.

  12. You CAN test legendaries not stacking by using them in EVERY slot on each piece of clothing, then killing the same higher level enemy several times. THEN unequiping all slots and killing the same enemy several times. The law of averages should still apply enough to show.

  13. So meaning. treat the interface as accurate, because there is nothing else you can use to determine if manual testing is not reliable.

unless you ask the developers that work on the formulas

  14. Well with all the patches i guess it changed along the way. Crit chance and crit dmg armor mods do stack properly and combined with crit chance and crit dmg mods on a shotgun you basically never deal normal dmg. Walking around with Carnage is totally what the name suggests – carnage. I even ditched the snipers and mantis blades, because it's so much fun blowing enemies apart.

  15. I’ve always thought about doing this kind of research for this game well done thank you for taking the time hopefully they will fix some of these bugs until then now I can swap out some of my mods that are evidently being wasted

  16. Thanks for saving my time on empty mods.
After seeing all the bugs this game has to offer. I knew to search for a vid like this.
I mean I was a second away from "stacking move speed" In hopes to out run my car. But at last, it seems a fool my only dream.

Only the bright side, I can out walk a unicycle. 🤣

  17. I have a dilemma I was hoping someone could help me with. I haven’t come across the street smart mod in my recent playthrough and I’m currently level 22 with 38 street cred. Is it a glitch or just poor rng?
