Statistics get misused constantly in the modern day vernacular, news, etc. I appreciate the comparison Kyle made in the nuclear series about what is true randomness isn't dots perfectly positioned with equal space between them, it's dots in groups, concentrated or absent in a rough shape that doesn't form any kind of pattern.
