There are a lot of crazy and over-the-top characters and quests in Cyberpunk 2077. But none stick out to me more than the tale of Bill Jablonsky and Joshua Stephenson. It’s a quest so provocative that the game disables photo mode during the grand finale. In this video, we’re going to explore all outcomes to the Sinnerman questline in Cyberpunk 2077.

Man, this quest really fucked with me when I played through it the first time. I knew immediately why they insisted on the first person perspective.
Why is this quest a big deal, controversial, etc? The whole thing just seems like a boring quest, having played through it myself. Just because you crucify the guy? As a non-religious person, this whole symbolism doesn't mean shit to me. I really don't understand what is compelling about this quest.
This is a very interesting quest in many regards. There are so many ways for it to go off the rails and deviate elsewhere.
He's a murderer. He has been convicted and even admits to his crimes. He has been sentenced to death and will die no matter what. He may be sick in the head or he may be a true believer, but he is genuine about everything he is doing. He is also actively trying to, not necessarily make up for what he did, but try and comfort the family of his victims and accepts responsibility for what he did.
That action takes more courage than simply saying "I'm sorry, I regret what I did. Honest." To actually go look someone in the eye, accept responsibility knowing there's nothing you can do to make it right, and accepting their condemnation of you as a natural consequence, not many people do that. It is what led me to think he truly believes and is 100% sincere in his attempts to repent of his sins.
It sucks that he is willing to go through the whole BD and crucifixion, easily one of the slowest and most brutal ways to die, all to be exploited by the corpos. However, it seems that people will experience his emotions while in the BD and feel his peace, his belief that he is doing the right thing, and that emotional connection is what makes the BD succeed or fail, that genuinely is something that people can connect to and it takes a very special mindset to achieve it. It's not something that can be faked.
I helped with the crucifixion my first playthrough and stopped playing for a few days because it was brutal watching him slowly die and knowing I nailed him to that cross. This one murderer, no better than any of the hundreds of thugs, gangsters and corpos we kill throughout the game, had a more meaningful death than all of them combined.
What the quest is is masterful storytelling, something that anyone can get their own interpretation out of it. I personally see helping him with the crucifixion as the best ending, but also one that is unfortunately exploited by the corpos.
When he says he shot and killed several people I laughed. I wanted to reply, is that all, that is hardly a good start.
> First time.
> Doesn't want anything to do with this circus. Talking quest, so boring.
> Get invested after hearing Johnny.
> Be completely supportive of Josh and the entire thing.
> Everyone happy, while I laugh behind the screen, wanting to see the circus happen.
> Two-faced son of a bitсh, lie to everyone.
> Josh wants me to nail him. I got hard.
> Nail him, V being all serious and stuff, while I keep laughing, enjoying my hypocricy.
> Guy starts dying. Johnny pays respects.
> Call Johnny a cuck and slow walk away, revealing I never cared for this shit, I just wanted a nail a weird-ass schizo on a cross, where he belongs looool.
> The last thing Josh feels before he dies is betrayal.
> Corpo slattern's project ruined in the last second.
Don't actually remember if walking out ruined the quest. Headcanon is i screwed everyone in the end, because i'm a сunt <3.
Shame, that the cop won't drop below 1 HP until he kills Bill. I managed to check that, by getting my car next to wall, so Bill needs to walk long way around it and using this time to blitz cop and unload entire Fenrir mag in his head before he managed to pull up the gun. I wish there was as way for Bill to survive.
Bruh, I got as far as the restaurant, and threw the deuces, I wasnt tryna be part of any of that shit lol
It dose get hard to watch after you get in the car once you have done it 2 or 3 times lol
The only time I see Johnny actually kneeling down in reverence. Normally, you see and hear Johnny being sarcastic
some time after that quest rachel calls you and yelly on you if you don't hammer him or will thank you for hammering him
On my first playthrough, after they shot Bill I finished the job for him and got the call with Wakako. I never thought anything more of it and now after seeing this my mind was blown.
I want revenge on Rachel!!
My quest ended at the Jesus table.
Man you need to reach level 40 to kill Vasquez, and you must upgrade your Panam given iconic sniper rifle to maximum (with 4 crunch kits installed), plus a really damaging LMG and a bunch of grenades to warm up the combat atmosphere to tip Vasquez off the balance, if you choose to use guns. However, you will find killing both of those gonks(Joshua and Vasquez) easier with a CYBER NINJIA build, using blade weapon(like a katana) to kill them is very, well, disruptive to them, and protective to yourself.
BUT ANYWAY, I ALWAYS KILL THOSE 3 IN THE POLICE SUV AND GET PAID 6000$, AND NEVER BOTHER THE EXTENDED STORY OF THIS QUEST, BECAUSE I HAVE NO DAMN TIME FOR IT. I AM A MERC, AND I ONLY DO JOBS.
Honestly, I'm just glad they actually give you options to point out the ridiculousness of the whole thing. Fuck, it's so disturbing to think that people actually believe a murderer can just flip a switch and start praying, and suddenly he deserves redemption. No, that isn't how the world works, I would shoot him on the spot if the rest of the quest wasn't a better opportunity to prove the insanity of the whole thing.
Also, get to fuck over a corporate exploitation of someone's genuine experience, which was a fantastic bonus. Fuck the corp, and fuck that delusional cult shit.
All these people talking about how depressing this quest was then there’s me t-bagging as I spammed the crucify button
'Twas a very interesting quest. My V agreed to stay and witness but she said 'fuck no' to nailing him to the cross. My V was a bit religious as well so she thought that was blasphemous lol. Actually I had her turn her head away as he died cuz… well that was fucked up.
I crucified him myself at time. Was pretty intense as far as games go. One of those things that sticks with you like beating ocarina of time and sadly realizing the game is over.
Its so funny to see the "youtubers" flip on this game lol this is why you find a reviewer you trust and stay with them. The rest are just willing or unaware cogs in the algorithm pushing BS.
I played this game on pc at launch when it was still a game and not a vehicle for companies to merge over. It was better then. Now, its "fixed" enough for video's to be made and that's about it after 18 hours it all starts to fall apart.
LOOK UP "CSG – Corporate Social Governance" and how CDP red has embraced it. That's what this is all really about and this is most likely in preparation to sell the company, probably to Microsoft. It will be used for subtle political propaganda instead of our beloved rpg. Like all "free" things.
I shot him instantly, I wanted to avoid the mission because religion has a problem with me so I ended that as fast as possible
My first play-through I actually killed them all after the car chase. I didn’t think anything of it. My next play-through, I followed through the entire quest.
Next play-through, decided I wasn’t going to go through that whole thing again, it is really intense.
I enjoyed crucifying him waaay too much, I was laughing throughout that last bit, the screams only made me laugh harder 😂
Gotta say that apology could’ve been a wee bit better without the prison uniform 😅
My boy told me I had to play it once when I told him I just killed him. That was the only time I've played that mission. I just kill him in the car.
When you Look around at the table they are other pepole sitting and it looks like the the last meal that leonardo da vinici drew
