  1. Hey everyone! Just wanted to mention a couple of things for additional context on the video:

I chose to pronounce CD Projekt the way I did throughout the video as it's closer to how native polish speakers would pronounce the company name. However I've since discovered that some people at CDPR pronounce it the other way too so maybe there's no definitive pronunciation (and if someone does have an answer to this, let me know)!

I also tried to get the names of many of the polish developers as close as possible to how they're supposed to be pronounced. I know I messed up on some of them (Marcin Iwinski probably), so sorry about that!!

Also, I feel like I should note– as with many of my videos, this is a recreation of my experience with the game. And for a game as controversial as Cyberpunk, you can imagine how wildly my impression of the game varied one moment to the next. So … please be patient and watch until the end, not everything I say (about CD Projekt especially) is concurrent with the conclusion I arrive at by the end of the video.

Other than that, please consider leaving a like, a comment, and/or sharing the video! Any bit of engagement tells the YouTube algorithm to reccomend the video to more people.

Alright, that's it. Thank you for being here. Enjoy!

  2. Not a long-time sub of the channel or anything but I really love the content man – just an awesome perspective on a game I haven't even played yet (plus I loved your Clone Wars vids since I'm a big fan of that show). 10/10 definitely worth the wait

  3. As someone who was super hyped about the game, and who deeply enjoyed the game, regardless of issues, I personally think this is the best summation of everything 2077. Most of what I have seen has been clickbait or social shibboleths of "what an awful game, how could they have ruined it so much." I really loved how you argued the good and the bad and highlighted the real victims of the whole mess: the devs. 10/10 from me.

  4. Bravo, what an exceptionally wonderful capture of the feelings this game and the surrounding situation evoked. I agree that art is our escape, and you've forged a new piece. Unwinding not only the metaphors of the game, but irony of the disaster that enveloped it. On top of that, you perfectly put into words all the feelings every ironic twist of both the in-game and real-life story. Bravo, and thank you for this gift of a video.

  5. I really hope that CyberPunk 2077 can be a No Man's Sky story, and in 3 years, everything that was promised, and maybe even more, will be in the game, in a stable state. But until that happens I just have to be disappointed. I have the game on PC, and it's honest pretty fun. I've had a relatively low number of immersion breaking glitches. It would be even more fun if it had everything that was promised, but what is here, has been enjoyable. I hope they learn from their mistakes here, and next time actually stick with the "Coming when it's Ready" statement that they originally made.

  6. I'm a fellow fan of the Witcher franchise, both books and games, and I agree with pretty much everything you said in this video.

I discovered your channel through your Clone Wars videos, where you talk about another franchise I love.

    Keep up the great work!

  7. This was less an introspection on the failed release of Cyberpunk than it was an analysis on the proximity of Cyberpunks various releases dates and delays to your finals. Take a shot every time he says "my finals".

  8. You have very much talent. You can Handel so good with words that 1 hour feels like 10 minutes. You can keep everything worth listening to me. Thank you for all your work, effort, I don’t know how I should name it. I just wanted to say thank you and please keep it up
See you in the next vid 🙂

  9. What i get from this game is basically, what is even the point, what's the point of playing a video game if the experience is to just have my heart broken. The end of the game sapped all of my energy from me, it left me feeling empty inside, and pretty much mocked me for wanting an enjoyable experience from a video game. Yes i know it's just a video game, but people poured their soul into it, it's not just something to do to pass the time but a medium to experience something profound. But this experience left me with nothing inside.

The game has no replayability, it is just a trip to tell quite a depressing and hopeless tale, from what a future that we should not aspire to looks like. Mike pondsmith's warning does come clear through the story, but still i payed my freaking money for a truly unique game, and all i got was a story. If i just wanted a story where my choices don't matter i would have just went to go see a cyberpunk movie.

Instead i got sold a lie, and although it wasn't horrible, it really did drag me through the mud. Cyberpunk 2077 is a depressing game in many ways. But it is a game that is more of an interactive movie than an actual game. You might as well watch a game movie instead of buying it to play it. CDPR really did deliver a message with this game, never ever trust a corpo, never. Also the bleakness of the game feels forced, reinforcing the lack of choice you get to make, because the game is built around johnney's story and not yours. It's johnney silverhands game.

  10. Finally somebody with my love for Panam. Want to try female V cyberhacker build but no Panam romance would make me sad and I dont like Judy and her ragtag group of, well, prostitutes that much. Anyway, having played it on PC and with some patches in between play, didnt had too much trouble with bugs. Few T poses, few cars exploding, couple annoying ones like falling from small rock and dying or achieving secret ending and cant heal to full but just to around 300HP for some reason. What I did have a problem is that whole experience is mediocre. They cant do open world like Rockstar, gazzilion weapons that somehow feel meaningful like Borderlands or stealth like Deus Ex. And yet they tried all that. They promised all and couldnt deliver to neither to be great. Story is fine and I like the characters but choices are almost non-existant. In Witcher 3 you feel and see how you changed things. Here its almost non-consequential. Not to mention non-satisfying due to world nature. If you decide to help Judy either Clouds stays the same but with Makako(I think that is her name) in charge or they are all killed. And in neither situation you feel that consequence but its just that Judy tells you in one dialogue. Only 2 side quests that are interesting, if you dont count main or romance ones, are Sinnerman and Peralezes. Rest is Go kill/steal/rescue. Or just go to blue spot, kill 3 people, open pouch and get some loot and exp. Not to mention stuff like no customization, not even garage where you can store cars(at least not one that I saw) or cheap police that shouldnt even be in game in this state. Builds are cool, almost every build you choose is really viable and by the end you feel powerful. But they really took a dive from Witcher 3 to this one. Maybe some patch brings something better, they promised some significant changes with next. But for now whole experience is mediocre. Which might be fine for companies like Ubisoft but not CDPR. Also yes, "J" in Slavic is pronounced exactly how you did in the video, no worries there lol

  11. They didn't finish the game for sure, but we just have to play fair on 2077, people can get their refund if they don't want this game, glad to see your feedback on the game itself, but gossip and rumors will never lead us to the truth…

  12. I had a great time playing Cyberpunk. It could have been better, but fortunately I had a good PC experience. I hope they improve it with the additional patches, free DLCs and Addons.

  13. Amazing video as always, this is certainly one the best videos on your channel, the script was absolutely well written and that part close to end when it gets very philosocal deserves a big round of applause, also i thought that the editing of the video was splendid.
Since you mention Brazil in the video, in the game you can find a clown character with a grenade in the face called Ozob, and he was createad by a brazillian youtube channel called Jovem Nerd, that created him for a special edition of the nerdcast(jovem nerd podcast) witch once every year they play rpg and turn it into a big episode of the podcast, and ozob was created for the cyberpunk rpg special, the character was so popular that they even made a book about him, and since he was so popular jovem nerd approached cd projekt to see if the could put Ozob in the game and they aceppted it. Just a little fun story i wanted to share 🙂
And i have a felling that the next video is going to be about star wars rebels

  14. I've yet to see the video, but my opinion on CP2077 is that it is good, sometimes even great, but it is obviously unfinished. The game we have right now is great basis to build upon, but it only builds like a 50% of what it could. Luckily, CDPR is not big enough to just call this a complete failure and abandone the game. They will have to finish it and to use its full potential, and I'm gladly waiting for it.

I was really hyped about this pseudo-early access version, and now, I'm just waiting patiently to the actual complete game, no hype, nor unrealistic expectations. I think that's the lesson of this story.

Edit: Already seen the video. Probably the best review and the one that most resembles my own opinion. Excellent job.

  15. blown away by the way you managed to articulate the exact feelings i had regarding the badlands!! it really is like… nostalgia for some sort of escape that you've never actually experienced but still feel like somehow you have?? might have something to do with how deeply rooted the story is in archetypes/archetypal experiences. great video!! :))
