gooooooood evening one and all. Welcome back to yet another dive into what might have been. This time we’re hyperfocusing on this giant NCPD building outside Megabuilding H10, a place which has always seemed to be rather out of place in Cyberpunk 2077.
I always got the impression that this place was supposed to be a load more important to the game, and uh well, I guess this might be true. Join me for another cheeky cut content moment.

Hey, stop looking at comments and subscribe! It's worth it 👀
this game clearly had much bigger ambitions than we all thought. There's just so much unfinished areas and buildings all over the map. idk if its already been covered but there is and unused gun range underneath a weapon shop in or near pacifica, for what reason who knows lol also in dogtown in the main public space area in the stadium there are some doors to the left of where you can buy cars from the computer thing and if clip thru there are more doors and a few loot crates but no floor to reach them unless you are flying. just a lot of weird stuff left in places in this game.
Even if Orion ends up being a masterpiece and delivers everything that was promised in 2077…it will never be the same thing, unfortunately.
This game will always have this strange feeling of abandonment, even though CDPR did make an effort for it to be as good as it is right now.
If the game was bad, no one would care, but when you think about all these places we will never get to see…you literally become that guy from the "let me in!!!" meme xD.
And the worst part about all of this? What about the 2nd expansion? I know it was cancelled, but that's the thing: wtf was supposed to happen in the second expansion???
Part of me thinks that a second expansion was never planned, after all, we all kinda knew that Dogtown would be the place for the 1st expansion even though we didn't know the name at the time and sure, the second expansion could've been around that abandoned Casino and that would actually be a great contrast with Dogtown because it is around the most rich area of NC, but I have so many questions…
I'm sorry, I might be the only one who wants this (and I know that's not gonna happen, so let me dream) but before thinking about Orion, I want a remake of this game, I'm not ready for the "next thing" yet.
What I have noticed lately. There seems to be more and more skywalks forming throughout night city.. Today in wellsprings/downtown area it has an like 2nd level area where there is a shopping mall/ hotels a parking garage some restaurants. Also has skywalks to cross over the highway. I was surprised to see this area. Very interesting find. Also has a turquoise color lighting in this area.
No matter the patches and expansion, it's still a massive dissapointment. Still feels like a playable demo version of what they were advertising
I am subscribed
yo subscribe to this guy already
also notice there are two levels to the NCART station, originally the monorails would have operate on the top and underside of the track
I think V's Megabuilding and surrounding areas were going to be purposely dense and fleshed out with all the ideas they had for them, like connected parking garages and police precinct that was simply there for those few blocks. You can tell that they tried to get teams of people as much freedom to create and flesh things out, but in the end, due to time and lastgen console constraints, so much just got hacked and lobbed off. Militech has epic ass music regardless of not having a single mission that has you up against them in the base game in a way that would warrant such epic combat music – which makes me think cynosure and some other things might have been part of the main quest at some point. I dunno… I'm really glad that they seem to have gotten through the disorganization, wild changes, and cut content that comes with the 1st installment of a new IP. It can get messy, and lead to issues down the line if you don't stabilize the vision by the time you begin work on the second game. So it's nice to see Phantom Liberty come through and know exactly what it is. Can't wait to see where they take the story and gameplay. I really hope they don't backpedal on the ImSim inspired level and mission design, because it's made this game so fucking amazing.
Imagine what this game would have been like had they the time to finish it! I'm thinking GTA5 scale of things to do. Hell its most likely all cut life path content that was scrapped early on.
im 100% sure AVs were supposed to be a thing you could probably drive who knows but anyways id think you could atleast use them at the bare min i find it very weird how theres really no air vehicles we can use despite the fact theres tons of flying vehicles theres even helicopters to. though abit off the topic [still vehicles in general] theres a real lack of anything relating to boats as well theres some boats you can see near docks also that [probably cut cause looks like a super early design] aircraft carrier still out near the space port as well it will pop in at a certain point on the right of that area. "forgot to add this originally but if you spawn them with i think something like AMM they have a destroyed version last i checked atleast the manticore does and can be destroyed."
Considering that the NPCD are such underdogs in this game even after 2.0, I think that anything they cut from it was cut very early.
looks like the building itself was meant to be a garage for NCPD vehicles and AVs apparently. maybe the metal gate the second walkway leads is the NCPD headquarters or something.
Tragedy
after seeing so much cut content from the cyberpunk 2077, I've realized that this game actually have a big potential to be the game that the CDPR promised. but they just ran out of time and never properly reached their target. what if Cyberpunk 2077 is actually released in 2024/2025 instead late 2020, maybe it gonna be great game instead the "most failed and buggiest" game ever created.
i always thought it curious how you can natively explore around there
like just double jump up onto a street lamp, jump over to the NCPD building roof, then up to the AV landing pads ..
for an entirely decorative filler area it's weirdly accessible.
but still, having to choose between that and an invisible wall – or another "THERE'S NOTHING FOR YOU HERE, YET" teleport thing – yeah, empty but explorable is definitely more fun
I love your videos bro
It won't be the main building, just a branch.
Lord knows CDPR could easily return next year for another expansion. Could easily just be side missions and quality of life expansions that enhance the game again. Considering the prison location and this location; REGINA JONES could easily receive a side question expansion. Same goes for MaxTax and Meredith Stout.
My frustration about this game is over 9000
Have you visited the farms area south of Pacifica? I've roughly spent an hours the other day and found about a dozen dead peoples here and there. Many of which with dedicated stories but no challenges or mission per say. But with your Ability to go through these invisible walls you may discover something. Also, how about the solar tower?
