Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most anticipated games of the past 10 years, but it was absolutely broken at launch.

Since then, two class-action lawsuits have been filed accusing the developer of straight-up lying to investors and knowingly launching a game that’s unplayable on console.

Here’s the whole story.

  1. Wtf is that title? Getting views on non csgo stuff must be this big of a struggle huh… most people i know of liked playing the game, and completed at least one campaign

  2. What about No Man's Sky? The criticism and hatred wasn't anywhere close for Hello Games as it is for CDPR. Now I get they are two different developers, but No Man's Sky had a chance to turn things around and it did. Why can't the same chance be given to Cyberpunk?

  3. to be honest i dont think cyberpunk was disapointing i mean yes it was and still is buggy as fuck BUT how many people were crying about the launch date, ye right a shit tone of people. And i´m saying that a lot of people are underestimating the development of such a big game, which is even more frustrating to see and hear from a game developing point of view since everyone´s expecting this to be some revolutionary utopian game which looks good and has a big ass map…
Not only that but then the same people also are complaining about the overtime hours all the game devs had to work for this game to be somewhat playable in 2020.
Please stop thinking, that game development is easy and that a Game like cyberpunk is gonna be perfect at the end of 2021.

  4. You know the bugs are bad but I think the real disappointment is the shallow world. There is literally NO A.I. No dayly routine for NPCs and very little interactivity with the world. It is a bad Sandbox at its core.

  5. The last game I pre-ordered was No Man's Sky. Before that, it was Destiny. I learned my lesson. How has everyone else not learned theirs? Gamers are the most entitled, lazy, inpatient people in the world. They really are.

  6. The PC version is fun to play but it needs some work. Probably could have used some more time in development but it is a beautiful game with a Story that needs a little bit more substance . The last gen versions are trash and they should have never been released. They should have just been honest with people and told them that their Ambitions have moved them past those systems and in order to enjoy the experience you need a PC or next Generation console. It was a greedy move and a stupid move to release these versions. I have no idea what they're going to do when when they start releasing these huge DLCs. The last gen consoles already struggle with the base versions of the game.
People were pretty damn naive to think that they were going to get those type of graphics on a last generation console. Common sense told me that it was not possible .

  7. I very rarely preorder games, but I did for this game, because after their award-winning games and consumer-friendly practices, I and probably a lot of people trusted CDPR to deliver on a quality-product and not lie to consumers. I do feel betrayed by them. Time to do another GTA V playthrough for hundredth time — such a great game.
