  1. I did do one netrunner build too before 2.0 but I think one issue still remains: instakilling everything by looking at them gets kinda boring a lot faster than, for example, being bullet deflecting zooming katana ninja.

  2. The most broken build is imo the Biodyne Beserk ++. You're complete immortal with it and though it doesn't mention it anywhere? it adds extra seconds to every kill. Allowing you to clear everything, as long as they keep spawning, without any build or stat investment into anything (sword related). (I used the Gwynbleidd) The Apogee Sandevistan has a similar mechanic.

  3. Cyberware Malfunction uses 4 RAM as opposed to Reboot Optics which uses 6 RAM. If you are just going to burn a Control quickhack for the damage bonus you might as well use one that costs less RAM.

  4. have been playing with something similar but preferred to use spread chance and range as it easily one hits anyway so being able to apply it to everyone i see is op
highest single hit i got was 200k without overly optimizing

  5. This is perfect, personally I like to use reboot optics lv1 for 2 ram then queue synapse after for – 1 cost for 20k-30k damage. It's a lot less than the 70k-100k but you can use It up to like 5-7 enemies. Either way genius idea, thanks!

  6. Why not using the sonic shock instead of the memory wipe? and also is your combo tracable? since you are starting with cyberware malfunction ? i would rather do : sonic shock or wype first then cyberware malfunc, synapse burnout and finish it of with reboot optics for the 40% more dmg

  7. Some things to add: Neofiber + Spring Joints for more mitigation strength, works well with Countershell and any perks that give mitigation chance (to be immortal you can use Heat Shield from Tech tree and throw grenades/blow up stuff with "initiate overload" next to enemies / use contagion followed by overheat or thermal monowire/shingen mark v/erata katana)

Would also consider going 20 Tech from here for Edgerunner perk and some more cyberware capacity.

And then, since you really don't need more than 15 Body and don't need more than 4 Cool, you could get Reflexes to 20 as well to use for SMGs (if you spec smart weapons in INT tree) or whatever really.

I don't think getting 15 cool for the crouch sprinting and mitigation is worth it, you have enough mitigation chance with Neofiber+Countershell and can get another 35% chance when crouched and standing still with just 4 points in cool.

  8. My only gripe w the new system is that netrunning and quickhacking cant be end all be all, before i could 100% focus on netrunning and quickhacks and i could play the entire games clearing out houses etc just by taking over the network, cant do that no more now they feel kind of weak.

  9. After discovering the damage bug on the COX-2, I'm definitely taking it off and using something else. I knew there was a big bump in my damage but I didn't know where it came from, thinking that legendary synapse burnout just did a lot of dmg lol. Oh well, plenty of other things to work with that don't break the game as badly.

  10. Alternative build: use rippler and optimizer, the queue is t4 sonic shock > t5 short circuit > t2 reboot optics > t5 synapse burnout. Your short circuit will deal atleast 100% bonus damage and crit on top of that, burn out cost 50% less for being last in queue and then reduces its cooldown each time you kill an enemy with it in the queue (even though it says burnout needs the kill it doesnt), at 3 stacks burnout only cost 2 the cast but your still getting 80% if the 16 base cost refunded and you end up going net positive for ram cost resulting in infinite ram.

  11. Even without the bugged cyberware, even with just the perks and vanilla cyberware, even with base tier 5 hacks, this build still one shots basically everything. Maybe not maxtac and/or bosses, but still crazy good!

  12. What I would like to know is how to level into this build.
Unfortunately, like most videos about character builds, this shows the finished build, but not how to get there, what to level first and what to get at lower levels, before you can get the really good stuff.

Nevertheless this build is what I was looking for and I will definitely give it a try.

  13. Another commenter made me realize something I thought I'd share here. Maybe some of you already know this but I wasn't picking up that the "5 sec extended duration to Overclock" from eliminations with T5 and T5 / Iconic Synapse Burnout also reduces the cooldown of Overclock.

I took off my Axolotl just to make sure I wasn't seeing that make the cooldown meter jump up. I went up to 3 enemies, I turned on OC, loaded them all up with Cyberware Malfunction x2, Synapse Burnout, sonic shock. I then turned off OC while still in the scanner to slow time. I let off the scanner, saw that OC was red and in cooldown. As soon as all 3 died I got 50% or 15sec of the meter filled.

So I thought something else might be affecting it, so I did the same test with Tier 4 Synapse Burnout, so that it didn't have the 5 sec extension effect. Same order of operations, no jump in cooldown meter.

So what it looks like to me is that anything that extends the duration of an effect is also reducing the cooldown and vice versa since Axolotl extends the effect of OC and not just reducing cooldown. So when I have Axolotl on and I burn people down with at least T5 Synapse Burnout, I instantly get OC back off cooldown if it OC is on cooldown at the time the enemy dies.

I started doing that every time I saw just like 3 enemies standing around so that it'd come off cooldown faster with Axolotl and I'd be ready if I ran into another pack shortly after. I realized that Synapse Burnout was contributing, but didn't realize that it wasn't supposed to be lol.

  14. I think an important think to note about the Rippler and its extra RAM is that Synapse Burnout scales based on how much RAM you've used, that scalar doubles under Overclock, AND the amount of extra RAM from the Rippler increases as you level it up to Tier 5++, all the way up to +12 I think. That 12 RAM, at 10% extra damage per RAM, doubled under Overclock, is actually 240% extra damage for Synapse Burnout. That makes the RAM the far more impactful damage buff from the Rippler, over the 40%.

  15. This is like the ultimate cyberpsycho build. The only clue about him is that there seems to be a tiny one person car driving around the city, and everything around that car just dies.

  16. Was there a change to the Iconic Synapse Burnout? I was just hunting for it and was able to find it from a vendor. It does considerably less damage than the one in the video, 168 on the info card compared to 1728. Am I missing something or did the patch 2.01 nerf it?

  17. U dont need chitin, its 42 "weight" and can be replaced with nano-plating which has an insane amount of effective damage reduction if u actually press the dash button.
