I can’t remember I got lost in a game as much I have with cyberpunk.
I love the the characters, the lore and just the world.
Shill. This game is a scam.
Despite the backdrop NPCs no other world has immersed me this much
Anyway it's not as if I go chatting around or shooting people IRL
The only thing better would have been the ability to sit anywhere and perhaps animations for eating n drinking
thanks everyone for watching!
Great video bro
So freaking true…. 😻
For me, Cyberpunk 2077 is also a super great game. You play a character with friends, family, emotions and enemies with background stories. It just feels "real". A story game that tells a story more vividly than any other for a long time. How many of us would like to have a "simpler life" where we have time to really live with our families/friends like the nomads. Or to experience his own ups and downs as a Corpo. The fear of V during the "attacks by the chip", everyone who knows panic attacks knows how it could feel – as well as knowing to die at any time. Dreams, hopes like in real life. i love it.
No offense but I think you like the Cyberpunk genre more than the game itself. Remember, this isn't an original concept made for this game or by this studio. The game itself made me lose respect for one of my favorite studios and I don't think you can just ignore all the things you, to your credit, mentioned. Saying your favorite game world is Cyberpunk while simultaneously saying you're going to ignore all the bad things about the game world seems a bit paradoxical. But it's your opinion, I just don't see any validity in what you're saying. I'm not sure what the point of the video was
I was so immersed in Cyberpunk I actually got lost in its world. The last time I played a game that I got lost in was Fallout 3 back in 2010. That was my first serious RPG that changed my life. Keep in mind I've played games like new vegas, skyrim, witcher, and others right after that. But honestly, I wasn't expecting Cyberpunk to shake things up for me.
On my first playthrough after Jackie's death, I actually walked all the way from my apartment to Mama Welles' bar, just because I felt the need to just process that emotional ride I just went through…
I had "bigger crowds" enabled in settings, so I really felt like walking through a bustling metropolis. I was just in awe of how much detail and npcs there were in the streets. If you've walked through places like Fremont Street, or the Strip in Las Vegas, it's a very similar feel to that (of course not exactly similar, I didn't get mugged and there was no smell of dried piss). I literally just walked the entire way to Mama Welles', it made me reminisce back to the days I used to ride the bus to and from school.
I've done the same thing in GTA5 and it's really not the same. It could have something to do with it being in first person. But it was just that one experience from Cyberpunk 2077- strolling through the city and different districts- that made me realize Cyberpunk 2077 restored my love for open world rpgs.
Very autistic video, fully agree though. Thanks for the vid!
I quit my drug addiction with the help of exploring Night City. It became a shelter from my own mind and vices so it really hits home emotionally in alot of ways. It just takes over the imagination and makes me think about the future "what if's?" .. both in real life or the game/characters/story.. This game hits a nerve unlike anything ive played.. even with its flaws. nothing is perfect.
I hate this game and all the wasted potential that I can see it had…
I also can't stop playing it and love every minute of it. Can't wait for Phantom Liberty
I'm a sucker for the graphics and music. But not as much as a sucker for the world and story. I thinks its also my favourite out there. I remember beating the game my first time. I got what I think is the worst ending where you try to get arasaka help you with the relic. They where doing all kinds of tests on you in a space station above earth. That ending really made me depressed with how dark and lonely it felt. Doing the other endings and finding out that there wasnt a way out of the situation made that sink in harder but a bit more bitter sweat. Made me contemplate the meaning of life. But then I came to realise to just enjoy the rest of it, even if you onlt have days left.
I dont think theres ever been a game thats got me this stuck into the world as this. Some of the sidequests are some of the best in anygame. I also remember my first time with kerry on the boat and immediately after that quest I looked up to find the song. The side quest where you get to reform samurai for one more gig and play on stage is so amazing. The detail and effort cd project red put into that was something else. Moments like that really loose me.
Dude, come on. Witcher 3 Was Way more immersive, and had an amazing storyline that I cared about in blood and Wine. Great characters in great writing and no cringe. I love cyber punk, but to say it’s like the best above Witcher three is like what the heck
Honestly while watching this video, I’ve come to relate to almost if not everything you said. Night City is a world that takes you by the guts, shows you how rotten or pure humanity can be. It really is one of those games that aren’t too far from reality at all. Can’t wait to see what they make of the game for Phantom Liberty
