Mirrors don’t reflect because they are all fake in Cyberpunk 2077. Have you wondered why you need to press a button so that the mirrors reflect your image? It is because CD Projekt Red uses an illusion to make the reflection, by creating a separate V behind the mirror cabinet and the mirror is not there (or just a transparent glass). Proof is shown in this Cyberpunk 2977 video by stopping the early Jackie cutscene and then looking inside Jackie’s Apartment while V is at the mirror. This process resembles entering the Matrix. For the mirror cutscene, the whole room is actually two rooms connected by the mirror cabinet, with each room an opposite mirror image of the other. Mama Welles and Jackie Welles apartment location finally found so you can know what other rooms are there in the game. Gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 5 (PS5).

thank you for the god of war trick and the xp
nah they just unfinished
Good!
oh well
first
doesn't suprise me lots of games do this.
I wonder why its so hard for many modern games to create convincing reflections.
"Through the Looking-Glass, and What V Found There", if you know the book.
Gta san andreas uses the same technique
Mirrors in this game are useless anyway. You're hunched over, can't turn your body, and when you turn your head you look away.
Raytracing reflection my butt.
There's no ray tracing for V. Explains why everything in the game has a reflection but them. If you go inside Judy's apartment into her bedroom, V is headless in thier shadow.
Also mirrors give you mirror images…. all the lettering should be backwards in the mirror reflection. Dead give away.
"Enter the Matrix" ))) Cool editing!
"How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real" – Jaden Smith, modern day aristocrat.
Pretty much how game.mirrors work
You mean "V" IS real but the mirrors are not?
I wonder if the brother without a head got teased in school.
In the history of gaming there has never been a mirror that works as they do in real life. Due to coding and memory limitations, mirrors always operate as a second camera, looking at the player and presenting that view. Not only is this not news, but the devs actually discussed how mirrors were coded like this in one of their numerous pre-release videos. Hey, I get it, picking the game apart still gets views for your channel, just stop it with fabricating fake issues.
simple: the word "FIXER" in the mirror don't show as "REXIF" as it should be if that mirror was at least trying being a mirror.
Par for the course regarding mirrors in video games….it's ALL simulacrum after all.
My query is, where in the flying fig-newtons is THAT apartment located at in the game world?
This is how game mirrors worked since Duke nukem 3D
Looks like how they filmed Terminator 2 mirror scene with taking out his chip. Was no mirror, they used Linda Hamilton's twin sister as the mirror image of her.
