This weapon is a thorn in my side, it took multiple tries to even get it to drop. If it doesn’t drop, you get a normal DR5 Nova. This used to be obtainable back in 1.0 from the initial All-Foods fight, but it was very weak and did not have the modifiers. It was just an iconic, and not this powerful.

This is recorded as of Patch 1.6, but it’s been in this spot for much longer.

  1. I got mine in a unique way. I threw a throwing knife at Dum Dum after talking to Nancy, I missed his head and ended up hitting his hand that was holding it. His arm got ripped off due to it and he proceeds to continue shooting with a tech pistol. So I decide to leave him unconscious instead of dead and still got to walk away with the Doom Doom. Also this was Vanilla not modded. I love how fun and random this game is haha

  2. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve restarted my first playthrough several times because of this quest at all foods…

First time I hacked the Chip, Gave it Royce and defended them against Militech. Figured that was a good ending where everyone lives, Then I found out I missed out on a merchant so I started over and paid for it out of pocket. Then I found out I could’ve gotten a dildo weapon instead if I killed them, So I restarted AGAIN… Just to find out about this revolver. Started over again and I’m now currently on a steady playthrough about to do the heist. Hope Doom-Doom is worth it. Lol

  3. It's shit like this that confuses me about cdpr. Randoming loot and mods, to where they barely spawn. Removing certain avenues for players to get creative. And removing clothing specs. Now this shit. I love the game, and I support the company, despite everything, but it's getting harder to defend, cause these are just weird choices, and no communication on why they implemented these things.

  4. I'm doing a playthrough where I shot instead of handing over the chip and I knocked out Dum Dum. I've read some different things that say he will show up and he won't so I'm gonna see. If he doesn't imo not much lost cuz even though it'll require cheating on Panam which I really hate I'll get the best melee weapon in the game. If I remember I'll come back here and edit this to tell all of you if Dum Dum was there or not, if he's not I'm just gonna pretend he's still alive but didn't show up in that mission cuz I liked him and won't be able to handle knowing he's dead even though I technically knocked him out.
