As a Jamaican I wanted to like the Voodoo Boys so much man – and that intro in the church was atmospheric AF buuuuut after what they pulled on me and Evelyn on my first playthru its on sight subsequently ESPECIALLY Placide. Had no issue with maelstrom until I read that new novel – now its on sight too.

mox is less a gang and more a sex worker's union, put them in the same tier as the nomad tribes. scavs aren't a gang so much as an occupation, I'd say they're probably the most dangerous group of people but don't really cut it as most dangerous gang 6th street, vdb, and animals should be tied for last, it's community watch hackers and roid rage. valentinos seems pretty chill, just don't be a dick to them. raffen are probably the most dangerous actual gang but don't really operate within the city (and didn't even get mentioned in this video) claws and maelstrom are the only real contenders for most dangerous gang in night city imo
worst gang to join is absolutely maelstrom though, no contest. all those scars and cybernetic fuckery are part of the initiation, not personal choice
Maelstrom all the way, from asthetics to the characters, they are the best gang to me.
I personally will join the Valentino's or 6th Street and the Mox they are just simply too weak but that doesn't mean I wouldn't visit Lizzy's bar and have some fun and spend quality time in their virtues and Rita wheeler is a bonus
Fun fact for those who haven’t heard of it before, lidocaine is a real anesthetic used when doing procedures on specific areas, such as the neck, gums, or breasts. Kinda cool seeing a substance I see being used regularly in my job (I work at a hospital, don’t worry) is being mentioned in a video game I play, even if it’s being used for less than ideal reasons.
I would join that gang that looks like the original crew from Star Trek. They're in the guidebooks, heh.
Could you do a video on what mega corp would be the best to join and the different ranks within them for example like how dedicated you would have to be to end up like Atom Smasher while retaining your autonomy

I was raised in a Buddhist family and am Buddhist myself. After seeing what Maelstorm did to that monk and almost to his brother, I execute them on sight, I don't even care that the monks don't want any killing, the Maelstormers just disgust me that much. Also it's a public service to kill as many Scavs as possible.

I would definitely go with The Moxes. Thought the same when playing the game.
Maybe doing some proxy-managed side biz with scavs, I'm Russian, after all. Like, imagine, selling rapists and bullies targeted by The Mox to scavs where they end up being disassembled for parts, what a honorable end to such a honorable people!
I know such double life would most likely get me either clubbed to death or disassembled for parts sooner or later, but naught dream cometh free.

Will Phantom Liberty allow you to make permanent changes to the balance of power? Like take locations from one gang for another, weakening them and eventually wiping them out? I think it was Shadows of Mordor that had such a mechanic you take down minions and have them switch allegiance.
Mox seems coolest imo. The Voodoo ones would be cool if they weren't so backstabbing and Valentino also if not limited in heritage. It would be cool if you could replace leadership with honorable persons that treat civilians fairly. And then unite the honorable gangs to wiping out the hopeless ones and then take the war to the worst corpos.
