  1. The game is still buggy as hell. 2 of my friends with rather good PCs ran into the exact same bug where if they drove in one direction for like 2 minutes, the world just failed to load, textures missing, NPCs missing, before the collision was missing and they just fell through the floor.
You're softlocked if you don't have an earlier save because the game just spawns you in a killzone.

  2. I cannot wait for the dlc where Taco Bell becomes the only restaurant chain in existence after they win the fast food wars!!

Also I hope they explain how to use the 3 seashells.

  3. In the Cure ending, it makes more sense; 2 years later, all of the characters live a hard life, and V becomes an NPC, which is a very realistic ending.
All endings, whether Arasaka, Avocado, or Street endings, will end up the same with the Cure ending in two years because Night City is not a place you will live a happy life.

  4. I think the canon ending is the cure as it ties up everything in a nice bow and has v return as just another resident of night city. After everything that’s happened v walks away alive but never the same as before only to remember the life they had before one botched job led to it all.

  5. To me, the canon story will always be V taking Songbird to the moon, go alone to takedown the tower and leave night city. I really hope in the next cyberpunk V can find his cure…

  6. I remember hearing about this game when it came out, but all I really knew was that there was nudity, a penis size setting and Keanu Reeves (and that it was a buggy mess). Only now am I realising how good of a game this is and how good the story is. It might even be better than rdr2. Who knows

  7. Almost hitting the 6 month loyalty subscription, couldn’t think of a greater present than this vid. Incredible as always.

Makes me so happy that more people are looking at Cyberpunk with a new lens and appreciation. One of my favorite games of all time, and the lore behind a truly worthy of a deep dive. Can’t wait for the sequel.

  8. So one thing to note. Johnny is a unreliable narrator. He is a narcissist that is possibly suffering from mild cyberphycosis due to his silver arm. According to the source books Johnny wasn't the one who set off the nukes he and his team were more like a distraction for militech who were the ones who did set off the nuke. Johnny literally gets shot in half by adam smasher and spider Murphy used soul killer on him in his final moments. The engram of Johnny (being the narcissist that he is) basically hyped himself on his own lie with the help of arasuka who found his body at some point. Imma get somethings alittle mixed up here but i think there is a cloned Alt out there in the world who eventually got her hands on Johnny's body which was in cyro freeze ack in the 2040s the story for Johnny kinda ends there then picks up again in 2077. Essentially Johnny was used as a scapegoat for the nuke, pretty sure none of them were fully aware of militechs plan except maybe rogue who later makes a deal with arasuka which is why she's just chilling in night city during the game.
So take Johnny's narrative with a grain of salt, the Alt AI even says as much in game.

  9. Can we drop game recommendations for future Lore and Order episodes? Because I have one that I would be curious to hear your insights on. It's called Noch and it's currently available on Steam, releasing just a week ago. It's a horror/action/puzzle game taking place in a bizarre post-apocalyptic world. The story centers around our protagonist trying to find the girl who destroyed the world, but I won't say anything else to avoid spoilers.

Suffice to say, it's your call whether or not to do a Lore and Order episode on Noch, and I won't be upset if you decide not to. Still, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the game's story, as it's definitely a pretty unique one.

  10. My personal opinion tho, each endings felt more like a cannon for each back stories at the beginning of the game.

For the Nomad, runaway with Panam is obviously a perfect ending.

For the Corpo, take a revenge on Arasaka and ended up having treatments on a space station is quite make sense.

For the Street Kids tho, I think this one is the cannon storyline from the start no matter which ending you achieve at the end. And the normie ending with all the cyberwares removed is completely the most tragic one.

  11. The tabletop source books (and Mike Pondsmith's Twitter) seem to suggest that a lot of what we see regarding Silverhand's past in the game is unreliable. Arasaka is known for editing and tampering with constructs they copy using Soulkiller, and Silverhand's construct was no different. A lot of discrepancies regarding how the Tower assault goes down between the source books and the game point to this.
