  1. I remember when I first loaded the game up(PS4), the storyline and concept was instantly addictive. After somewhere close to probably 40-50hrs of gameplay, I was bored as f*ck and noticed how super short of the mark they fell in terms of creating that new staple of open world, npc-interactive, living world, gaming they really tried to advertise. I feel like no kind of update or patch can actually turn this game into what it was really supposed to be. Im glad he referenced Deus Ex tho, that game don’t get enough love 😂.

  2. I was more disappointed with all the cut content and loose connection to the lore even more than I was with all the bugs tbh.

The cut gameplay mechanics like customization, manual transmissions, wall running etc.

missing story elements like morgan blackhand

i guess i got my hopes up a bit too much from all the cyberpunk lore channels tbh

  3. muda i still have this game sitting here sealed up waiting to play it on a series x in hopes they fix it sometime in the future. i was really excited to get my hands on it only to be disappointed by the waste basket they released. i think they over extended themselves by trying to please publishers and investors and rushed out the "final" product which in turn caused them to step in their own poo. i can only hope and wish that they decide to re-release the title exclusively for next gen and or pc at which point i still would be willing to give them another shot. i think the idea behind this title is great and if they would have taken their time and perfected it this could have been one of the best open world games ever released.

  4. I understand why they had too downgrade it since cyberpunk in not only (still) very buggy but also puts strain on my gtx 1070. So i would rather downgrade the graphics and tarrain for a better framerate.

  5. Honestly the game doesnt have to LOOK beautiful.. it just needs run well and to have a world filled with content and not empty like a ghost city.. this obsession with NEXT GEN GWAFIX is why they are in this mess in the first place..

  6. Thank you for this video Muta! As a student games designer I honestly couldn’t agree more, also thanks for not just shitting on the game like most gamers do mindlessly. I really enjoyed the story and aesthetic of this game! So I’m really really hoping they fix this game and add more content.

  7. This video just straight made me sad. I loved this game, I had that same personal connection. Brimming, hopeful, freshman year of high school me saw the trailer on G4 and I never forgot it. I mean, I must have checked on its development MONTHLY up until release, even way back in 2013. I evangelized and pushed it onto my friends, and took the day off of work to enjoy it. And, I did enjoy it, for what it was. Really. The game I was delivered on PC wasn't too awful, it was fun, and I enjoyed myself, had a good time.

But I'm very sad, and I mean actually SAD, thinking about the game we could have had. It's like a longing for things to have turned out differently. I'm still holding out hope that things will get to that point but for now I'm stuck thinking back to that wonder I had towards the game pre-launch, and the absolute excitement I felt loading it up for the first time.

  8. I am not going to act like I was being hype for this game for the past few years but seeing that it was in development for nearly a decade and flopped this hard makes me feel a feeling that I have never had.

  10. CDPR has been known of porting games for other companies and it be completely broken. I think they just captured lightning in a bottle with the Witcher 3. That's why I went into this game with low expectations and I was able to enjoy it but not on the level they sold it on.
