  1. and teh DLC doesn't help things. I watched one guy run into an issue, the option he wanted was gated behind. . . . a skill cap. So he grinded out the level for the one skill point needed only to see that he needed another point. Yes, it scaled based on level.

He reset his skills, putting an extra point in the skill needed. He was lucky cause (surprise surprise) it was exactly the level he picked. No joke, his INT was 18, it needed 19. Grinded to get 19, now needed 20. Reset and put 21, it wanted 21. Game loves to force you into doing something very spoilery so I won't say exactly.

  2. Immersive sim is what I wanted it to be, but the gameplay loop is honestly more like a GTA-style or Bethesda style, or even Ubisoft-style game. Accumulate the sidequests, do the things. Buncha pointless collectibles and side activities to do. Main story/mission content is largely a linear affair that can be bruteforced through.

Maybe 2.0 has changed things but I have yet to find out.

  3. Thankfully, CDPR have actually fixed most of the bugs. I've finished a couple playthroughs recently and only ever encountered a couple weird moments and the game is actually really enjoyable now

  4. I'd say Cyberpunk 2077 is more of an RPG than an Immersive Sim. No box stacking there.
Also, kinda weird watching that now, after three years of CDPR fixing bugs.

  5. Oh no, someone that's NOT loudly singing praise to the finally working-as-intended game released THREE YEARS ago !! Anyone want to guess why I love (and trust) his reviews?

  6. Pretty disingenuous to release clips from a 2020 review when it doesnt reflect the current state of the game and interest has spiked because of the dlc. Either review the game again or don't post anything at all. This is just lazy and dishonest.

  7. The bugs werent even the real issue with the game. They were a large part, but the majority share was the neaely poorly written linear ass story and complete lack of role playing, in gameplay or in aforementioned story.
