Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay part two video up now – MUCH BETTER framerate and performance, for comparison this video is running at 35-40fps and the new video is running at 60-72fps, this Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod is amazing but you might have to make some changes to settings – https://youtu.be/E0S6n8Th24w
Ever since launch in 2020 I’ve wanted a Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod, on launch day I actually made a Cyberpunk 2077 Will it VR video using Vorpx and the results (although a bit rough) were very impressive for a day one setup. Now over a year later we finally have the Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod that many have been waiting for, a brand new Luke Ross REAL mod that pushes the huge Nightcity into full 3D with headtracking, HUDs adjusted for VR and an overhaul which makes the game feel like a native VR experience akin to something like Resident Evil 7 on PSVR (yes there are no motion controls, this is a controller experience or keyboard and mouse at a push). However Cyberpunk 2077 in VR is no slouch, to get this game running smoothly you’ll need a fairly powerful PC that’s running next to no other processes whilst playing, on my RTX 2080, i7 9700k & 32GB RAM system I can achieve around 60fps when just playing but only 35-40 whilst playing AND recording…
The following Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay was captured on my Oculus Quest 2 with an airlink connection, there is no native Cyberpunk 2077 VR Quest 2 version and you will need a PC to achieve these results and play this game in virtual reality.

I so want a VR run through of Cyberpunk from you beardo the game is so fucking great 10/10 characters and story from day one. With all the updates man it's even better..
Framerate seems bad 🙁
It's great it really feels like it was made for VR and got abandoned last minute, A couple more updates from Luke and we are all set. (an AA fix to sort out the edges)
How does it compare to the VorpX version?
I don’t get why Luke Ross doesn’t let you use the thumbstick and buttons on the vR controllers. The fact that you have to use either a game pad or mouse and keyboard seems very backwards and just a weird choice in general. Especially considering it would not be difficult at all to do so.
QwQ still waiting for motion controller support
I GOT IT RUNNING SMOOTH – https://youtu.be/E0S6n8Th24w
I picked this up for £15 after all the negative reviews now after all the updates please revisit awesome game👏👏
We need a proper VR version on PSVR2. It will sell.
OK wtf is this synchronicity?… And here I thought I had my finger on the pulse of Luke Ross releases! lol Just installed Cyberpunk for the first time ever yesterday (waited for 1.5). Awesome timing. I wonder if Luke was waiting for a stable release himself.
Amazing game! Still on the first couple missions, but so far, relatively bug-free and highly playable. It seems to have finally reached release stage. lol This is gonna be an awesome experience. Glad you mentioned the SSD, I just got a fresh one that I can move this to. I'm gonna need it. Fingers crossed I can run it like GTA 5's (not likely)! 🤞 Luke Ross =🐐
Pls do a review on the Vorpx Cyberpunk mod… It has gesture support for motion controllers…
it sucks in VR too…
vorpx also did a stand alone vr mod for cp2077 like a month or 2 ago? i am curious how this differs to that one.
How do you actually get like an Xbox controller to work with your quest 2 for stuff like this? I've tried having it connected to my pc and pairing it to my quest, doesn't seem to work.
You should try the Vorpx guy's mod too, it has motion controls!
I have to see my 1st playthrough love pan am in vr now.
Member when mods were free? I member
Beardo, I like you but youtubers have been talkin' bout this in VR for awhile by means of vorpx and then the vorpx "mod" . How does it compare to standard vorpx and the vorpx mod? Obviously this isn't just an injector, but it still begs the question are you hyping it waaayyyy up for the video or is this like propper 3D? Like how much better do you think it is? Am i gunna have to trial and error this?
Anyways great vid, love your face. Thanks!
Just bought this off from his Patreon. This mod is super cool. True geometry 3d support, nice frame rates, the HUD is modded for VR, nice optimization… Even the VorX mod couldn't pull this off…
The icing on the cake would be if somehow motion controller support would get added in the future… That would be unbelievable… 10/10 highly recommended mod!
The insanity of this mod is making me seriously want to invest in upgrading my PC at long last.
I just left the settings alone. I installed the game just for this mod, and after I ran the batch file, the only thing I changed was to set the resolution to 2700×2700 (for my 3080ti), and it runs fantastically. I'm not sure, but I think Luke tweaked the batch file to turn some things off that the in game settings would still leave on by just using the overall low medium high settings. You might want to try running the batch file again if you used the game's usual defaults.
Good one! I have a question, what games can be played in the same time with appsharing? We bought 2 headsets set on same main account for appsharing but can't play together.
Did you happen to try on Rift S and if so was there any difference in performance?
Was it stuttering because of capture or during the actual game
