  1. Hey all! This episode of Cyberpunk will be the last I post for a while, as the series will be paused. With all the YouTube issues I have been dealing with lately, I'm feeling quite defeated and to have my efforts at producing a stellar LP constantly undermined, it just doesn't feel great.

I will be playing DEUS EX to replace this game and retain the Cyberpunk theme, and will return to CP2077 after that, so hopefully this is a nice buffer in the meantime and you can enjoy that too. I absolutely adore this game and it's so much fun so I can't wait to be back, I appreciate the support on this series thus far! See you in Night City, Chooms!

  2. The only reason I knew Claire was lying is after the race before that end quest race, I talked to her and while I don't remember what I said, she confesses to you her husbands death was an accident after all. Which means when the choice comes up to follow the driver off the ramp, you can just go and finish the race instead, thus saving Sampsons life. Claire will be mad but thats about it.

  3. 1:06:54 I believe this is a reference to our V's corpo prologue, in which our boss, Jenkins (Mike's "middle manager"), overheated the brains of all the Lunar/ESA comittee members without the approval of their boss, Abernathy. And because of that, as well as it being "sloppy", Jenkins was terminated (we looked at his grave in an earlier episode).

  4. so… there is a diffrent ending to the claire thing- to avoid spoilers I am putting it a few lines down

Okay so, in order to get the "good" ending with Claire, you basically have to do everything the same that you did…. except during the 3rd qualifying race when she has the chat with you on the damn, you have to tell her you only care about winning,

if you do it right, Claire will think you are right… and not shoot him, then the Corpo will later give you his car for free (and you also get Claire's car as well). Overall she still seems depressed as fuck, but thankfully you can talk with her later in the Afterlife.

  5. The Claire mission is kinda specific of how you do it. Refusing flat out or finishing the race will make her not talk to you at all in Afterlife, till the end of time. Did right, she won't exact her revenge and respect V for talking her out of it.

  6. Heh…there's a dialogue choice you have to make after the 3rd race to allow V to talk Claire out of killing Sampson. Oh well… You can/will see Claire again at the Afterlife if you choose to go back…I think she also texts you to say that you were right. If you ignore her request to follow Sampson in the race and go on to win…she'll be big mad and won't serve you at the Afterlife bar. The Skin A Cat gig is another one you can encounter very early in Act 1 and it can be a heck of a struggle if you aren't levelled up a way. Machetes can't be thrown, but there's an axe called Claw that can be, and does a lot of damage…esp. if you mod it appropriately. If you can sneak up on a camera, you can switch it off manually and get Engineering points. Heh…that notice of expiration is a CLUE…check it out for sure. At your point, the way to get lower-Tier crafting materials is to pick up junk [the stuff you ignore a lot ] and disassemble/upgrade them. It's a tricky balance, I agree. Haha..that Greetings From Des Moines is a reference to a Philip K. Dick story. Sleeping in your apartment gives you a 20% XP buff for an hour of play. Showering gives you a 20% health regen buff too [IIRC]. Keep donating to Gary the Prophet…the relationship has potential. The initial problem with Reno is that you scanned her computer. What's on it actually removes the necessity of even talking to her, if that's the way you want to do things…some revealing emails on it as well. But the Corpo dialogue is cool. Yes, the sniper rifle was overkill, but whatever works, eh? Gary's fate is an annoying dangling plot thread…one of so many in the game. The Fall Of The Bakkers gives some interesting background to Nomad V.

  7. Claire seems a bit of a psycho here. Killed a guy in cold blood. If I do the races I will do the option to finish the race. Sorry but her getting vengeance leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Love the afterlife. One of my favourite places to visit. What place in night city vibes most with you? Nix is a cool guy. His quest is interesting.

  8. Seeing how hard YT is hammering you for the CP77 content, I wonder how GTA6 will go down (in general, for you and other creators). It's likely to include a lot more swearing, profanities and obscenities than Cyberpunk.

  9. So, the Prophet Garry stuff connects to a lot of other lore pieces in this game to form a picture of a massive conspiracy that I hope they expand on in the next game. If you use the cypher (forgot the name) where you take the first letter of each word and use it on the shard you decrypted from that Maelstrom/Jane Doe meet, you get: Project Oracle. Command: Execute Plans.

The Claire resolution and the whole racing quest has always felt like a missed opportunity. The races are pretty fun, but the danger gun fighting aspect is mostly just window dressing. And while I like the moral ambiguity of the Sampson drama, the actual resolution felt unfinished/unsatisfactory. I don't even mind that she admits to using and manipulating V for her own revenge. I just wanted another step afterwards. Maybe convincing her to race one more time without Dean's shadow looming over her as a way to move on. As is, Claire just spends the rest of the game shouting at you in greeting or anger the moment you step into the Afterlife for the rest of the game.

Sorry to hear that YT has been making this difficult for you. Hope you'll be back to Night City soon. Good luck on figuring out a solution!

  10. Just wanted to add how sorry I am this reaction series has to be put on pause. I was really enjoying watching you explore the city with fresh eyes, even though I have played this game countless times.

  11. the races are the worst part of the game unfortunatly. they are basically fake. the other cars stop to wait for you when if you hit something and teleport foward if you go too fast for them and Sampson is on rails so he's immune to anything you do.
