Arasaka rebuilds Jackie wells and turns him into a death machine on par with Adam smasher and v doesn't take to that very kindly (just a concept but interesting enough)
I think the one issue with it can be hard to make rivalries make sense in some cases especially when you get in the range of powerful people the thing is most “rivalries” are almost always one way caring little to at all of the other person because if someone was being that much of a problem why not just kill them v does some crazy stuff and if someone was being that much of a problem it shouldn’t be much trouble especially depending on what you consider a cannon v like are all builds considered cannon if so I have one that I use mostly hacking on and I clear entire buildings without even going inside able to make a guy go psycho from across the street. especially in a world like cyberpunk I mean even shown in this video Jonny is one who saw smasher as a rival but smasher didn’t see the same seeing someone else as his rival who most likely in the same way didn’t care who smasher was it’s honestly how most even real life rivals work only really being one party thinking something is there when it’s not
