I feel sorry you gals (or guys playing as gals) who had to make do with this. I dont mind River as a character but fuck me that bovine questline and story about his family getting killed sure are a buzzkill. Same with Judy and her questline of a failed bid to liberate some sex workers.
Im lucky my boy V got Panam. Her story is actually pretty wholesome. Plus Panam doesnt just have the cake, shes got the friggen desert table buffet. You can see that much when you meet her for the first time. 😛

For my first playthrough, I was a male V who romanced Panam but as I played through the River missions and realized he was a romance option for a female V, I started making plans of having him be romance my second playthrough. I had fun picturing this V not only enjoying life with River but also his family, the kids getting excited when "Auntie V" comes to visit. Of course, I later discovered that the circumstances of the different endings makes this…unlikely. It was fun to picture while it lasted though. The guy needs someone like V and I think V needs someone like him. Thanks for uploading.

River was the best guy for my V. I was playing male v and I was using mod to romance him because no one else matched my V like River did, it just meant to be lol. It sucks it was so short. Even cute messeges would be nice, small talks, anything damn, one cute date. Damn it, I'm so angery jesums.

River can get it, man, he gorgeous. And yes, I agree with quite a lot of you who have spoken about how quickly his plot is abandoned. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to do a few more missions if only just to hang out with him and enhance that connection, whether it be romantic or platonic.

You don't get that long conversation if you choose "heavy convo in the morning" which is good because I don't care anything about him. I only romanced him because I did Judy's last time. Can't wait to play male V for Panam and Kerry.
