There are optics and muzzle attachments for most guns. Also the Unity pistol (first one in the stream) is your starter pistol so its kind of a POS for a reason. Also certain guns are made by competing companies, like the Kappa and Yukimura, I'm fairly certain the Kappa is manufactured by Tsunami (who manufactures the Nue) while the Yukimura is manufactured by Arasaka. The Malorian was, or is, Johnny Silverhand's custom order hand cannon, originally described as "handheld artillery" in one of the tabletop handbooks. Its in .55 caliber, roughly .500 magnum levels of power, a bit stronger, was initially meant for Johnny's robot arm exclusively, but that was obviously changed. Its functions are autistic but easily my favorite gun in the game.
Lets be honest. This game is SEVERELY lacking in the firearms department because they are an afterthought like Dying light and its main focus is melee and cyber warfare.
