To start 2023 with a bang I have invited Colin Walder, our Engineering Director, and Audio Programmer — we talked about coding & composing for games, and showcased how it’s done. Later I have continued playing Cyberpunk 2077!
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that I have co-created. As I love talking about design, storytelling, and psychology in games, I have started streaming on Twitch and discussing it all with my audience.
My goal is to share everything I have learned over a decade in the AAA games industry, openly exchange ideas, explain creative decisions and encourage the next generation of game designers and storytellers to create.

First Cyberpunk 2077 video is ready for you my chooms! <3
😉
Thats what im waiting for… thanks sir…
Can't wait for the new DLC, I am suffering for quality single-player games!
Hello, Pawel. I found a shard with a conversation between two characters and one of them is named $A$HA and is also a netrunner. Can you confirm that it's the same Sasha that we see in the Let You Down music video?
The quiet atmosphere that gradually turns ominous with industrial sounds far off in the distance are my favorite parts of the game. Really makes the world feel like a dark cyberpunk city…thank you 🤟
Hey pawel first of all I absolutely adore your projects. I am eagerly waiting for the new cdpr projects. I am not a game dev but I know that you consider the critics. I have some interesting side quest ideas I hope you consider include some of them ideas for upcoming games. Here are my topics:
1) A side quest where the protagonist finds clue about a serial killer who copycats slasher movie killers. This serial killer is obsessed with Michael Myers or Jason from friday the 13th you find clues about him in the open world that leads you to his creepy dark basement and he set some traps that kind of shit
2) A mad scientist tries to gain superpowers in his laboratory. You get in his lab and find some experimental interesting stuff
3) A poor Mother who lost her 7 year old child tries to resurrect him trying religious cult style things and ends up with more grief for her.
4) Protagonist meets a magician (that side quest might have some paranormal stuff in it it could be very interesting)
5) A highschool boy watchs too much gore stuff from İnternet and slowly starts to turn unstable his parents are desperate and aware of it and needs your help to take him to a therapist before its too late.
6) A stranger npc falls in love with a pretty girl but lady ignores him. You meet him in a bar or somewhere else in the open world and help him where you try to make girl fall in love with him as well.
7) A movie director hires you for a job. He shoots a movie but the lead actor is a method actor. It irritates the director and it makes filming nearly impossible so he hires you secretly to keep lead actor in his line.
The other three are from the witcher side activities:
8)It is rumored that a giant (like vhagar size from house of dragon) talking ancient dragon nest in a cave. Protagonist searches for dragon clues and finds several wild animal corpses. When it leads him to the cave, ancient dragon talks with a unbeliavably deep voice "go away" protagonist chooses to fight and a epic glorious boss fight theme kicks in with cinematic and interactive cutscenes. (cyberpunk 2077 boss fights were too bad I am not keen on witchers as well but I find dettlaff and olgierd boss fights amazing) I hope new games boss fights will be fucking gooodd <3
9) A new creepy powerful and mysterious video game character, like mirror master from witcher 3 or strange man from red dead redemption series,
This old man meets the protagonist in a quest, creepy man tells dark future prophecies and has incredible powers like (o'dimm). That character might be a very good material and has interesting cutscenes like what you did with mirror master spoon scene and etc.
10) An invisible ghost of a death person voice is heard in woods and protagonist investigates it.
Turns out this place is cursed with this person and this quest goes on…
…
I know it has been a long writing but I really want you to read and consider them seriously. These are just 10 quest ideas I hope you'll design even much better than these, much more epic, interesting, with amazing stories in it. I hope you include some of these consepts in your new game projects in side activities and one more thing please make the Main story much longer and with high amount of amazing boss fights :)))) love your job.
Pawel, what about a Polish sabre blade in CP!
Man, super bummed that I missed this, but thanks so much for uploading it to YT!
Man, I missed the parth of the stream where V and Johnny chatting on "Johnny's Grave", I gotta tell you, This is one of the most emotional moment in the game for me, It's so sad scene, Johnny dying and his body throwed like a garbage and never found again.. Then Arasaka Tower still stands in 2077, Very tragic… Also you may know or not, I would love to experience Cyberpunk 2077 in 3rd person perspective story telling., But this moment is so special and personal that i fcking enjoyed the First person storytelling in this scene most.
I'm not aganist the first person storytelling at all. But CP2077 is fully first person that sometimes its becoming dull to watch everyone in First person perspective.. But as i said, V and Johnny 'grave' scene is perfection in that perspective… Btw i hope development of Phantom Liberty going well, It's my most anticipated thing this year.
Amazing episode as i am doing music myself and atm learning syncing to different or special happenings in videos. Now Pawel also knows what daws and vst`s are. 🙂
Super start to 2023,onwards and upwards,c yas all next stream.A well informative stream, made my head hurt in a good way lol
Meetings about nothing…sounds like fun 🙂
Feels good to be back 😀 This year is going to be amazing, especially if we get more awesome stream guests such as Colin 🤟 CP77's score is incredible and this was a really interesting stream!
