  1. YESSIR!!! I commented a similar thing over on twitter but I remember seeing Idris in Hobbs and Shaw and immediately thought of him as a Netrunner that would fit PERFECTLY into the world of Cyberpunk. Happy to see him in this! And yea lol, Idris is British.

  3. Well I've always been a fan of Keanu and couldn't disagree more, I think he has been great in the part from the begining.
Can't wait for the expansion, hopefully we will get patch 1.7 for Christmas or the 2 year annersary for Cyberpunk and that would have some new stuff to hold us over to the expansion release.

  4. I had the hardest time connecting to Johnny my first playthrough, because every time he talked I couldn't unsee or unhear Keanu lol. And also his delivery of lines tended to feel a little flat to me. I love Keanu but I don't necessarily think he's the greatest actor, which works in a lot of his movies, but felt a little off in-game up against some of the other performances. I've gotten used to him as Johnny by now though, and he's definitely grown on me a lot! But I do kind of wish I could see what someone else in the role would've looked like. It was probably my biggest pet peeve back in the day, even more so than the buggy launch lol.

  5. Now we need to bring in Danny DeVito and Brendan Fraser. Who else am I missing? Might as well cast everyone the internet loves. I really hope this is not a bait like Keanu's reveal. The whole teaser built up to Idris's reveal. What I hope is this the comeback after the bounce back for CDPR.

  6. Always a possibility of being slang, but the insert of calling somewhere Dog Town also makes me think of Los Angeles, pretty sure after the Quake, Los Angeles became a desert of plague and Chaos. (See that badlands look in multiple scenes)

Could see the Pacifica Combat zone as a pre story zone and the NUSA conflict appearing in the new Los Angeles (which encompasses Santa Barbara to San Diego)
