  1. I use Nova Pure because Vibrant is too 'vibrant' and contrasty, but a LUT somewhere in the middle of the two would be nice for me personally as Pure sometimes is a little washed out but Vibrant is just too much.

GITS 3.X Fuji ENV with Nova Pure LUT is phenominal looking. Highly recommend.

  2. I still prefer the warmer daytime look of vanilla, it seems all of these LUTs lean more cool-toned.
Fantastic showcase as always though, much appreciated!
Maybe you could take a look at the "Blade Runner 2077" "Theatrical" and "Director's" LUTs next? I think I'm going to try those myself.

  3. Another great showcase Krush, and very good info at the end of the video. I appreciate you supporting mod creators. Btw in terms of the next upcoming mod list video, and in reference to your current mods. Are you having any issues with the LOD mods? I’ve seen some comments on vegetation lod and nvflods mod causing some users issues in 2.12 wasn’t sure if you had any problems with them too. Thanks man! Take care 🙂

  4. Hi Krush, did you also try Nova LUT HDR test? Something like Nova Pure balanced for HDR is pretty much what I'm looking for but I'm kind of hesistant to try it myself because of the "test" in the name. I believe it would be quite helpful to let us know what is the state of the Nova LUT HDR version. Thanks.

  5. Love your showcases, you should definitely try Realcolorr 3 LUT, pretty nice and realistic colors, it's on the Nexus. I think it's underrated, but definitely worth a look.

  6. Putting lighting mods on Cyberpunk, is no different than putting shaders on top of minecraft shaders. It's stupid and pointless. Why mess with the lighting when the game already looks phenomenal? Is the game's base lighting really not good enough for you? What kind of rediculous standards does someone have to have to look at this game and say "not good enough."?? I don't even play this game with Ray Tracing on, and the lighting still looks absolutely stunning.

  7. yo, i'm with you! good rant. Been following these lighting videos you've been doin for while, they're very helpful!! I generally agree with you on yer pic, nova pure or that last 1 vivid with vanilla env looks pretty good. Have you ever tried GiTS 3.x env with NCLM lut?? Thats my fav, looks pretty fuckin amazing. i wouldnt say photo realisitic more stylized like anime trying to do realism.
got a couple vids showing em on my channel, nothing like yers just gameplay in various conditions and like you said full pathtracing and various other mods like unlock psycho settings doin alotta heavy lifting

  8. Kudos for your suggestion to use Nova LUT Vibrant without adding any additional NOVALut – ENV as a means of toning down the extreme vibrance. Indeed, that is the secret sauce! 😃

Previously, when I had tried Nova LUT Vibrant, I noticed it changed the hue of my favorite pink and purple fabrics. I also noted a greenish hue wherever the yellow Porsche was in shadow. Thinking that was a deal-breaker, I returned to the Nova LUT Legacy paired with Nova Pure Raster ENV, which seemed the most realistic albeit not as vibrant. To compensate, I increased the Color on my OLED TV for more saturation. For photos, I just boosted saturation or vibrance during post-processing. But after watching this video, I tried your suggestion to use Nova LUT Vibrant WITHOUT any additional ENV file, and that makes everything pleasantly vibrant without going over the top! Thank you for your in-depth, no-nonsense videos and musings.

  9. can you help me with this, I have cyberpunk 2.12, all the nova luts are outdated and are cyberpunk 2.11 or older version compatible, so when I installed it, my game crashed a few times until I uninstalled it, is there any way to fix this or do I have to wait until an appropriate version is released?, I have create my personal realistic reshade that looks similar, but using a lut is just much more simpler and easier

  10. Nova sLUT 😂
    Couldnt stop myself.
Wanted to try a Nova mod, but its all confusing to me. I even asked the mod author if his other lighting mod is compatible, but have not got a reply.
