I rather have a weapon from Cyberpunk than any weapon from Bethesta. At least their weapons doesn't need magic to work properly. With the exception of TeamFortress 2 weapons.
At least all the cyberpunk 2077 guns actually work and have at least some excuse for the way they function. Look at how horrible starfeild did their guns.
The breach of a gun should be totally sealed and daisy chaining is a remote problem. The real problem is why in the Cyberpunk universe, with all of its tech, isn't the round more technological and has a simple fuse or a sensor to not explode inside the gun? The RPG7 has it, the granade arms itself after 100 meters and the platfor is from the 1960s, Cyberpunk is set 110 yeas laters and why are still discussing problems like this?
Hot take maybe, but I don't care if a weapon isn't 'realistic' or requires 'magic' to work if the setting itself isn't trying to be realistic. Like damn, you're telling me the magazine fed revolver isn't realistic in a setting where people have 16 inch blades in their forearm??? It's such an arbitrary line to draw
The revolving is superfluous maybe, I'm more concerned about the super short barrel. Personally in real life weird designs like this are NEVER a matter of mechanical experience but rather laws or some VERY niche solution. 2 examples are California compliant grips, or a 22lr/magnum gun. Swapping a cylinder is easier and cheaper than swapping out a barrel.
It also makes sense if one fires munitions powered with an alternative explosive, much more volitile & powerful than regular gun powder. (Peroxide for example) Having several isolated loading chambers would provide an extra degree of protection.
Tbh Brandy always seems to be unnecessarily hard on games or projects he may not have enjoyed so much and then drools at New Vegas…like I understand that it may not make sense but it the Gun looks cool, don’t be a bitch about it haha
He is still right

Honestly as long as it shoots and feels good in game I’m happy
He put it in the meme tier. That’s the tier for truly based firearms. Lol

Never in all my days did I expect to hear jazz standards in the background of a guntuber short. A1 taste sir

There has been at least one magazine fed revolver in the past, so it checks out.
Okay but why are we still using toggle locks in 2077?
What about that gun from blade runner. I love that revolver..
A collab I didn't know I needed.
See this is why i think Cyberpunk's guns are cool though is because they're silly and impractical but possible
I can hardly stand that guy's bit because he's so critical on everything.
maybe it is a way to cycle the barrel so that it doesnt overheat
I’d love to see more commentary on his vids. I like them but I wonder what a second opinion would be
Actually, that's pretty smart.
if your gun exploads, your hand gets taken off no matter what type of feeding system it has.
