  1. 27:45 actually, this line of yours is particularly interesting. See, Song just told V that she still, 7 years past, has nightmares and feels extreme guilt over betraying Reed. But that was her being a good state-agend and following orders. This occasion, her manipulating and betraying V? All done on her own, with nobody to shift responsilibity to. So, i imagine, the guilt and nightmares of this betrayal might be even worse.

There's never gonna be anything official from the devs on this, obviously. But as far as headcanon goes, in every ending where V gets her "6 months to live" diagnosis, i find it entirely plausible that Songbird will reach out and attempt to actually help V out.

  2. Yea i gave up Songbird and i dont really feel bad about it. I have sympathy her but she renegged on the deal, which was the entire reason V signed up in the first place. As for caring about people, V knew her for a week tops, she doesnt get the "cared for" status and didnt earn it.

  3. So, my first(meaning headcanon) playthrough, i also sent Song to Luna, just out of general stubborness, "welp, got too far to just do a 180 now". But honestly, at this moment, i feel that it's also entirely in-character for V to go "hey So Mi, remember how our initial deal was i save the President, you cure me? Time to pay up, birdie".
Because yeah, Song manipulated V from the very beginning, from her first contact. She used V as a tool, leveraged V's desperation against her, exactly the same way Myers uses people. Her feeling bad about it afterwards really isn't good enough.

  4. There is a nice bit of consistency in the finale. If you respond to Songbird betrayal by saying that you won't forgive her for that, while you can still send her into space, V's responses during the final preparations are much colder, with V basically saying: "I did what I promised. You are on your own from now on. Whatever happens to you is no longer my concern", but you can at least soften a blow by ending it with "Good luck".
In this ending you can also check the space port again to visit the memorial for the victims of the attack, which includes couple of extra interactions as well.

  5. 32:02 Well at the end she was honest told the truth and gave you a choice to sell her out and get the cure. She could have said nothing and just ghosted when she got to the moon and V could do nothing about it anyway. Remember the plan she told V she was supposed to go to the moon to get the cure and contact V when it's ready.
33:22 Reed path shows just that.

  6. When Johnny says "you had no choice", I don't think he makes fun of you. I think to him negotiating with the FIA is just so completely out of the question that he doesn't even consider it as an option.

  7. Between the nature of the game and the name of the DLC (and someone dropping just enough of a spoiler somewhere else) I had a feeling things with So Mi weren't going to end with you getting a cure. Knowing there's apparently a whole new ending to the main campaign on one of the other paths . . . I'm still not holding out hope for an actual cure, but I'm curious to see where it goes.

For my own part, I have zero sympathy for Song. Yeah, sure, she was lied to and used for most of her life, but she left a trail of bodies behind her. Add in the fact the woman really is a walking weapon . . .No, sorry. I'd drain every bit of knowledge I could from her beautiful chromed-up head and cap her in a room with no computer access. No way in Hell that nuke walks free on my watch. Sell the knowledge of Myers' crimes to her enemies within the NUSA and let them kill her too.

If Reed were loyal to his actual country at all, he would've been planning Myers's death the minute he knew she was messing with the blackwall.

  8. The heart made of food items was from Judy. Should be mentioned in a message some time after visiting Laguna Bend.

The "put down" spot looks like the one for the iguana egg, but there's normally a bowl there if you picked up the egg in Yorinobu's suite.

  9. the best ending imo
I saw the betrayal coming from the beginning but hoped she will keep her word
making decision between So Mi and Reed in my mind it was about what will be better for her
so yeah in the end I was disappointed but not surprised😅 no hesitation on "giving her to Reed" part though, it would be just cruel, V could manage, but for her it her only chance or she'll be Myers's weapon for the rest of her days

  10. I handed her last minute to Reed, she did not seem like she was going to make it and I was just bitter. I get her situation but she is doing what others did to her by pulling that betrayal on V. I hope you do try the other endings when you can, will love your input.
Judy left the heart shaped bags, she mentioned in a text

  11. I couldn't resist reading a synopsis of the other ending, but I'm really looking forward to seeing it when you check it out. I'm glad I chose the saving Songbird end though.
