As I’m watching videos of the new Phantom Liberty gameplay, listening and reading on all the new updates with patch 1.7, I can’t deny that there’s still a little voice of doubt in the back of my head. A little voice saying it’s too good to be true. So let’s talk about why I do actually think this rework of Cyberpunk 2077 will pay off.

  1. People always say "Don't get hyped", "Lower your expectations" etc and you know what? I love hyping about a release. I'd rather be excited for something and maybe get burned, rather than be like a room temperature soup. It's just a boring and sad way to treat entertainment. But i also realise that developers are not gods and have their own limitations, so i don't get upset too much when some things are out of whack. You just have to judge the end product for what it is.

  2. Hopefully CDPR can redeem themselves with this. I don't know if they'll be able to recover if it's another fiasco like when cyberpunk launched

  3. I expect it to have aaaaallllll the jank of release day. I hope not but I don’t feel like being out 30 bucks release day to find out. I got the game on release for 60 and now this dlc plus the game is just 55. Screw people who initially wanted the game and didn’t refund i guess.

  5. Sure, there's a chance it will stink. But not likely in my opinion. CDPR have devoted a huge portion of their development potential to this expansion for what, a year and a half? I think what we will get will be a lot more in line with the original vision for the game. I'm glad they are dropping last gen support. I know that sucks for some people, but gaming must push forward and evolve. 8GB graphics cards, I'm looking at you too! Step aside old man! Anyway, let's gooo!

  6. over the years of video games people overhype things, cyberpunk idea and story is great and has endless potential as long as cyberpunk games keep advancing it will only get better n better. this game is what it supposed to be at the point of technology, people often say it should be multiplayer, but multiplayer will ruin this game as everyone will be running around wild wild like call of duty . this is not call of duty this is a game that you as an individual can become what you want based on the rules of the game layout. i will support cd project red for as long as this game keep evolving.
