Worked well for me. I think I saw something where did game didn't like breaking down partial stacks of large numbers of an item. It still gave XP for it though and it would break down the entire stack. Maybe this will work for you too.

My glitch is with the nades
I can dismantle nades and not lose them
50 nades gives 250 xp
Just a note, you can scale up with this using the perk that gives you mat of the rarity of the disassembled item. So, you can do this, then make a ton of the blue healing and dismantle for functionally infinite blue and same for epic etc.
Found this out last night after I dismantled like 200 common healing items i didnt need and got WAY more back than they took to craft. Good find, keep it up. 🙂

I'm not able to do it on the PC, wonder if they patched it already.
just updated the game today and tried to do the first crafting glitch and its not working. I made 32 bounce backs and when i try to dismantle them the game just doesn't dismantle them lol, i dont gain any XP, dont gain any material from dismantling, and i dont lose any bounce backs from dismantling either. I upgraded my passive mechanic perk just like in the video too but idk man. maybe the game is bugged cus i cant even dismantle it for any items at all – also im on pc as well

Just tried this a few minutes ago on PC and it still works, make sure your consumables are unequipped or else you can't disassemble them. Also make sure you're crafting the common consumable, your crafting inventory defaults to the uncommon one and that cost more to craft than you get back disassembling it.

For me it works if you disassemble 1 at a time… if you do it in batch, no go…..
