Cyberpunk 2077, what once was a broken shell of a game has managed to transgress into 2023 which really does prompt the question. Is Cyberpunk 2077 worth playing in 2023?

I spent a few months slowly ticking through this game to try and answer just that! I hope you enjoy the video.

  1. I didn’t really hear about cyberpunk until after it’s release, because It became a meme how broken it was. I’m glad they were able to get the game playable, it looks beautiful, and I think some of the problems it still has are really funny. I don’t think I’ll ever buy it, not my kind of game but I have enjoyed a few clips of cyberpunk here and there. It’s been really fun watching cyberpunk become playable. Good video!

  2. Went on sale for playstation, was like: wow this garbage is on a big sale. Screw it, might be fun.
Horrible time. Crashes at every grenade throw, constant bugs broke any and all immersion, and even after beating the game had no idea what was going on really with how buggy it was.
Then i played it last month. Holy shit. This game is like an unpolished diamond, its rough around the edges, but still worth thousands. Like you said, the side quests are incredible. One thing that sucks is on my first playthrough i literally chose every wrong option that locked me out of side quests and all romances with characters. Second playthrough i did have to look up the right dialogue options but it is so worth it, you get fully immersed in the game.

  3. We need better npc/citizens movement, more real life behavior (ex. children with parents instead of wondering alone), a real metro system, more buildings to be entered and so on. The main story is a waste of time for me too.

  4. I didn't buy this game until 2022 – starting the experience with no bugs (or very few) and on a high end PC, my experience was fantastic. I felt that parts of the world were shallow, but the main storyline, the world aesthetic, and the fluid movement/combat kept me thrilled the whole way. Highly reccomend, but you might cry a couple times.

  5. I believe it is worth playing but for new players one thing I remember was for the first 1/3 of the game there’s too much dialogue that most people probably skip anyways. Some dialogue is helpful but when there’s too much it’s tedious and repetitive, but the other 2/3 of the game is better in that sense. And the bugs I’ve gotten recently are all fun and goofy, not game breaking.

  6. This is one of my favorite games on pc. Even with all my time played, I keep finding new things in Night City. FYI, there is a transmog and wardrobe system so you can wear gear with the best stats while looking however you want.
