It’s weird why this interaction even exists because the only window of time when it makes sense to happen is between getting the relic and Jackie’s funeral after which you get his bike, so that has to be like only a few in game hours?
This proves that V already had Johnny in their head. The relic just did an excission of Johnny's consciousness inside V's head. Arasaka did something to V long before 2077. Maybe V is Johnny but Johnny doesn't remember himself. Or maybe the Corpo lifepath is canon.
Good lord i do wish we could have different storylines and not just the Keanu reeves fanfiction. Is just Tales from the borderlands rip off. Give me an actual Street kid experience same with nomad and corpo. Not just a forced Street kid story mode but planned to be depressive and sad on why V got cancer and is dying.
