  1. I just realized this is your first video on your channel not including shorts. That's mind blowing! I thought you had at least 30,000 subscribers and have been doing this for awhile.

  2. It 100% IS their magnum opus in my book…I played it on ps4 since launch basically and I absolutely love it, haven’t been able to put it down since.. but then, recently, I finally got me a ps5..and holy shit! playing the next gen version of this game on ps5 is literally a euphoric experience

  3. I had the game since launch on a Ps4 Pro. So yeah to say it was bad then is a understatement. And i have been playing it through all the patches watching it improve. But is it worth playing now? No not really. In my last playthrough i still encountered a bug that stopped me from progressing with the game. After many hours of playing. And after 2 years of starting games mostly it just feels it became a bad routine. It's no longer fun because i basically know everything. And i sure as shit don't play it for the endings because someone finally says it. They are way to depressing. For all the crap your going through to reach the end i simply demand one good ending period. Modders probably have alot of fun with it but that is not the way a game should be. Because there is no real reason to play through it more then once. And i'm at that point no matter how much stuff they keep adding why bother at all. At some point you just move on. Because so far i experienced to many dissapointments to have the energy to even start. So to that extent i can only agree with everything said in the video. Apart from playing it again.

  4. Dude. I have about 300 hours in the game now and all of them have been in glorious VR with Luke Ross's mod! Night City is an amazing place to live! I will agree that the life path thing was underwhelming. But each build I've done now I've focused on different areas and it has completely changed how I play the game each time. Like right now I'm maxed out with a ninja/netrunner build and only use knives, katanas and monowire as weapons and its Incredible. the melee feels great! but that may just be because I'm in VR! https://youtube.com/shorts/wpq_g06kP4g?feature=share

  5. You only get one chance to make a first impression. And, in the case of Cyberpunk, that sucks. They should have bit the bullet and cancelled the last gen versions altogether long before launch. I mean who seriously thought that game was going to run on 7-year-old console hardware (which is already behind PC hardware the moment it launches)? I'm absolutely going to give this game a chance now that I have a PC that can run it. Great video!

  6. What you are describing at @16:15 is the standard Ludonarrative dissonance that exists in pretty much every game that isn't completely linear. There is always some "time-constrained" disaster looming in these games, that never come to pass until you choose to focus on it (cough….Skyrim….cough).

  7. Kinda missing the point of V a little there. Remember becoming a legend and how even in the game V comes to the point where they're not going to let anything stop them? If V is going to die while still trying to survive, why spend the last bit of life trying to only find a cure if they're not sure if they have tomorrow? Still going to try and find an out so they can survive? Of course! But still living life to the fullest and becoming a legend! 💪 Trying not to get too lost in the small details and trying to distract yourself a little and find some escapism while becoming a legend in Night City. And street cred also effects interactions. One example is at a diner and a gang comes in and threatens the owner and you start talking back. They end up running off because of your street cred or staying and fighting.

  8. It’s the single most underrated game of all time imo. It’s basically a joke/meme and people assume it’s absolute trash.

If you love Akira, William Gibson, Judge Dredd, Strange Days, Robocop, Ghost in the Shell, Total Recall, Terminator etc, this may be your all time favourite game

  9. Uh your technical issues are the limits of your hardware. I have a 2070 super which is basically a mid tier current gen card and my experience with this game is virtually flawless in terms of performance. This is a next gen title despite coming out on dated hardware. Unless you have next gen hardware, don't bother. Honestly.

  10. This was a really good review, I think I only disagreed with two parts of it, the crafting and the life paths. Crafting lets you make the strongest weapons and armor which is really needed for max difficulty, but it requires actually building into the tech tree. In the other hand while the life paths don't really change the story all that much I like the way that they can shape what type of V you wanna play.
