  1. I got it around the beginning of May this year and immediately sunk like 200hrs into it and beat it a couple weeks ago, I didn't even care at launch I had only recently heard about it then and thought it was hilarious how bad they botched the release. It's a totally different game but Mafia 3 had similar experience horrible release then over time after multiple sometimes massive patches it's actually a really great game.

  2. Honestly, I was one of those players who loved the game even near it's launch date specifically because of the story. It definitely had problems and was super buggy, don't get me wrong, but I was able to overlook that because it was so engaging on a narrative level with the characters and the story. Also, I think I was one of the luckier players as the only time I would crash was if I was doing a mission with Takemura and tried to skip the drive. Ironically, I crashed more often after some of the updates rather than before them.
