  1. You should definitely make more game reviews! This was a great video. I'm addicted to this game and even after seeing all the endings I'm still playing it cause I love it so much. Even with all the bugs that range from funny to VERY frustrating, if I want to have a little fun I turn it on and do some NCPD assault quests. I do agree that I REALLY wish there was more story for the side characters and that the world was truly driven by your decisions. My only hope is that CDPR does a sequel to this some years into the future or at least continues to release DLC content to flush this world out more.

  2. Great review.
I stopped playing after 3 days myself, decided to wait for the ps5 version later this year. By then hopefully alot of stuff will be ironed out and the dlc will be out too.
Really enjoyed your review though and would love to hear your take on some other games.

  3. I think that describes the game the best. “Everything is decent but nothing pushes the gaming industry to new heights individually.” That’s exactly how I feel. With the lifeless npcs I found myself not feeling this is the new era of open world games like described or hyped up to be. Overall I found it ok but not worth the hours I have sunk into other series and games. I would have liked to see a deeper rpg element to it.

  4. I’m with you where this game could have been 2-3 hours longer to flush more character and world building and a sequel might be a great idea. I also don’t want a multiplayer addition to this I don’t think it benefits or needs it. I’d rather see more relationships or more world building and character development

  5. this happens when management decide to rush game out and cutting starts… game is bare bone like beta version in early access.
    I have 150h in game and did 5 endings…

  6. i don't know if you've played Sleeping Dogs (i saw someone mentioned it below), but not having played CP2077 yet, i feel like they share a lot of issues. the world of Sleeping Dogs is amazing though, and my hope for CP is that it'll be the same when i get a new graphics card and get around to playing it.

  7. I enjoyed the game, yes it needs work but based on how Witcher 3 developed I believe CDPR will put in the effort.
I also enjoyed the review, I think you were firm but fair and you presented some opinions that I'd not heard yet… So many people focus on the bugs and trash the game for them but make no mention of missing content or poor continuity.

  8. Of all the reviewers I've seen before, you're the closest to my point of view about that game. Thanks for that. It's just sad that CDPR lied about the fact that previous gen consoles could manage to run that game at an enjoyable level and they are gonna pay dearly for that…

  9. That was one of the very view balanced reviews for Cyberpunk that I have seen, so well done.. This game seems to invite polar opposite views, either hate or Fanboy love.
Personally with 100 hours in it myself, I would give it a solid 7 out of 10.
The story-line and related missions were no doubt it's strength, but like you I felt that the main characters seemed to exist only during the life of their story-line then each one just faded away after that, with barely any acknowledgement post their completion save for a brief cameo at the end of the game… very strange and somewhat immersion breaking, it smacks of rushed development, as with a lot of the other issues.

  10. Excellent review! Only criticism is you missed the fact that the gameworld is more lifeless than the walking dead.

You should do more game reviews, especially the ones that don't captivate you.

  11. For me is simple… I'm waiting the GOTY version for 25$.
It's a shame that CDPR is now like the others (Bioware, Bethesda, Blizzard etc.).
It's hard to build a good reputation and so easy to destroy it.

PS This game is shorter because too many people don't finished the Witcher 3, that was CDPR said 😉
PS2 The multiplayer thing… they want maybe replicate what happen with GTAV for the RP…. more money money.

  12. This came up on my feed for obvious reasons, but I really liked they way you considered all elements of the game and weighed them evenly. I personally love the game and it’s world, while agreeing that there is some work to be done tidying things up.I’m betting on that higher score being given if all comes to pass as we hope. 🤞

  13. Police can't even chase you, cars have the very basic of coding and can't move around obstructions, absolutely no water effects, awful AI for the NPC's, and that is not even mentioning all the bugs. Then I hear this is "game of the year material?" Wow and that is just scratching the surface.
No, they lied about many features that are not in the game. I tried pushing past the bs because I did enjoy some of the game. However the crashes killed it for me and I'm not going back
I respect your opinion however I am not going to have my mind changed just from one review like some of the SIMPS I see in the comments.

  14. Loved this review of the game. I'm in the same boat as you… Been waiting so long for this game and was so excited, but then got bombarded with negative reviews focusing on the bugs and was discouraged from getting it right away. But your review has changed my mind…. Not in the sense that the game doesn't have some major issues, but rather that the game is still a lot of fun despite those issues. Thank you for taking the time to do the review, very fair and well done. Hope you do more of these!

  15. I have to agree, this game in my opinion is up there with Horizon Zero Dawn and The Outer world's as one of the top single player games.

As for running on lower spec PCs, it runs fine at 1080p medium settings at 60FPS on an AMD FX8350, 1050Ti, 16Gb ram and the game installed on a HDD (windows on SSD).

  16. I played 50 hrs in and its boring, once you get smart weapons , and the cyber arm rockets ,game is way too easy. You kill mobs in seconds, This game cant be compared to The Witcher in any way., also consider this game Is a GTA V Clone ,just no cyber upgrades in GTA ,until a mod comes out. Good review ,glad your making more vids again 🙂

  17. I feel like the side storylines were meant to be played simultaneously. But I can definitely see the issues with continuity there. I did them at the same time so I never noticed this flaw.

  19. I thought the character customization was barely enough and the fact that you cant customize it further in game is just plain stupid. V is a streetkid? Hell no. I played Nomad and it fit in perfectly. I do believe that corpo doesn't though. Didn't notice anything wrong with Rivers story as a male character. Otherwise I agree with this tasty review. Agree with the score, but still goty 2020 in my opinion. As for multiplayer, whole game co-op would be cool and would fit in perfectly I think.

  20. I pretty much agree with everything you said Lauren, I went into this game blind too I didn't pay attention to any of the marketing leading up to it's release on purpose and took the game for what it is rather than what it was promised to be.
I loved everything about this game from start to finish and I look forward to what will be added with patches, adding in free content (and what should of been there day one) as well as paid dlc.
