  1. i gave up this game nearly after day one, then tried it again after patches just recently and it's not my cup of tea, it's still just a disappointing game for me.

  2. no matter how they make the game "better" the fact remains…. the game was a complete lie, theres no getting around it "you can follow characters around, they go to work go home go to the bar, they have a life"….. all lies

  3. Honestly Cyberpunk 2077 is just going to go down the same rabbit hole that GTA online did. Where the only time its relevant is when some DLC gimmicks drop once every year and only gets traction for a week.

That'll keep it afloat maybe. But GTA online became a lolcow of a game using that method so its not a good one.

  4. Bullshit … you're phishing for clicks and comments.
I've been playing since launch (on PC) and have racked up 680+ hours according to Steam. More than any other game I've played and it's easily in my top 5 favorite games.
It's apparent that CDPR has commited to at least one DLC with the Red Engine but after that they are moving on to Unreal Engine and I predict they will come up with a CP77 Sequel made with Unreal. Mike Ponsmith is still working with them.
I'll give them credit for not falling into the "Sunk Cost Syndrome" with the Red Engine. They are smart enough to cease developement and hop over to Unreal.

  5. I’m enjoying the game on
Series X. They added safehouses, luxury prestigious one, added a bit more life to romance such as extra text, sleep next to your partner. Living in Corpo Plaza. NetRun built is my thing. After every gig complete you get a reward. The economy of in game is balanced perfectly. They added camo, invisible. And tons of odd stuff that might be relevant in dlc.

So it’s fun for me. I mean it’s not a ten year old game like GTA thrown in our faces, release. Release part 2. Oh, re-re-release again. Someone explain that mentality of greed to a point they are not rockstar anymore. As for Cyberpunk, it’s not perfect but for me it is. Better than before on this recent update.

  6. What created the hype was the expectation for a revolutionary game, what exploded the disappointment was the expectation being frustrated with an unfinished and capped game, what keeps the game until today is the expectation of seeing the game being completed with what is missing or was cut off. Cyberpunk 2077 has turned the game of eternal expectation.

  7. I just bought it cause a friend of mine told me it's not as buggy as before so far I've put a few hours in and it looks gorgeous on my series s with the raytracing my favorite time in game to explore the city is night cause the neon lights bounce and reflect off everything its so vibrant now not saying it's perfect there's still whatd I call "Black Flag glitches" like how you would sometimes glitche through the hull of a ship and endlessly fall that's happened a couple times but overall still fun I think it's worth a playthrough but still needs work. Hopefully Rockstar is really working on a gta 6 seen someone blowing up the re-releases and I'm with them tired of seeing companies like Rockstar and Bethesda re re re re re re re release games like gta 5 and elderscrolls skyrim like cmon bro it's been close to 10 years now, make a new f***ing game already

  8. This game will most likely enjoy the Skyrim experience. It'll most likely be kept alive by the community of modders. Skyrim is game that should have died years ago yet its community has been pumping lakes of life into it through mods.

I think it'll be like this because the world of CP77 is amazing, just that the systems and mechanics are kinda lacking. The weapons are basically just reskins of each other with randomised stats. Even the Iconic weapons are reskins which is sad, though there are a few unique ones. There is also pretty much no reason to use another weapon apart from Tech or Smart weaponry since they are so much weaker compared to those two types.

The hacking is also kinda lack-luster. If you are going to advertise hacking as an insane path that you can take then at least let us hack the streetlights, barriers and even civilians like in Watchdogs.

The cyberware while it seems like you have a ton of different options, apart from a set few must-haves most of them don't have much of an impact.

There is also an insane lack of content. There is an extremely linear storyline with a few decent side jobs. The rest is the same "Kill this, or destroy this, or retrieve this". In terms of actual content I would say its about 20 hours which is very small compared to how much their quests were advertised.

Poor NPC AI, and while it seems contradictory to what I said before, and it kinda is, but when I talk about the world I am talking about how it looks mainly with the scripted ambiance. NPCs take away from this so while its amazing it isn't the best it can be.

However, beyond this it still shines as an enjoyable experience because of the immersive world that the developers created. And because of this there is a ton of stuff that modders can actually do to the game. Give it 2 more years and like Skyrim you'll be able to turn it into a game that is incomparable to the original.

  9. It's still a game that's constantly in the top 100 games being played on steam and it likely will remain up there for a while as more people pick it up when the price drops either via bigger sale percentages or they drop the base price.
