Is Black Myth Wukong another Cyberpunk 2077?
One of the biggest and most anticipated games of 2024 is finally here: Black Myth Wukong. Reviews are finally out and that means it is time to see if Game Science can deliver on their promise. Is this game of the year material or are we looking at a cyberpunk 2077 all over again for consoles?
Black Myth: Wukong (Chinese: 黑神话：悟空) is an action role-playing game developed and published by Game Science. The game is inspired by the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West. It releases worldwide for PlayStation 5 and Windows on August 20, 2024, with an Xbox Series X/S version slated for a later date. Pre-release, it has received generally positive reviews from critics with praise directed towards its combat, visual design, and world building, while criticism was aimed at its level design and technical issues.
The game is reportedly the first installment in a planned Black Myth series, which will explore different stories in Chinese mythology.

Tuesday the 20th will be… interesting. Either a major flop or a great game for consoles. At least my 3090 can run it.
Stellar Blade is 81 on Meta from media and yet from players 92. It doesn't get in my head that people still follow media scoring. This game will be lowered by media score for several reasons. If it has 82 by media it is 90 at least from player which is only relevant and even that scoring system has problems. Game looks so good in benchmarks …Much better than AW2.

I don't know who these guys are so I feel like I can't trust the first review type video I'm seeing from them. Normally not a big deal but with the fake controversy surrounding the game it really looks like the gaming media is doing their best to hate on the game and try to damage its reputation.
The reason why it's delayed on xbox is likely the same reason why baldurs gate was delayed. xbox requires parity between series x and s. Which just isn't always possible (like in the case of baldurs gate)
There's a huge difference.
Cyberpunk was released in ps4 version which couldn't handle the game.
Wukong will be realeased in ps5 version and it should be able to handle the game.
