I tested Nvidia’s DLSS 4 (Transformer Model) versus the previous DLSS (Convolutional Neural Network) on a RTX 4090 card. The average framerate is similar: 134 fps (DLSS 4) versus 136.60 fps, but the image is slightly sharper and clearer with DLSS 4. See for yourself in this video!
