Thanks to the wonderful modding community, we now have a way to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 in third person mode. With this simple mod, you can easily swap to different perspectives, though still in the early stages of development.
This mod comes to us via Jelle Bakker who uploaded the mod to Nexus Mods, a website with thousands of different mods for many games. In order to play Cyberpunk 2077 with this 3rd person mod, there are two files that you will need to download. Don’t worry, they’re easy to install!
The first mod you’ll need, called Cyber Engine Tweak, can be downloaded here: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107

I'd be a lot more likely to play Cyberpunk if we get a full 3rd person mode.
How are you a gaming company but don’t even know the right terms you are technically not mate you are technically file Sharing because you do not technically create any of the mods yourself or tweak it yourself you’re just copying what the original motor has done
I still don't understand why CDPR chose to only do first person. It was sooo disappointing! Especially in a game where the vibe of the game world is to modify your looks?! And you can't even change your hairstyle after the first character creator?! WTF HAPPENED?!

A pretty succesfull experiement, really. It's nice to see how that UI easily translates to 3rd person, sort of refuting the claim that 1st person was nessary for their 'immersive' UI. Not against a first person game, just found the reasons given for first person to be dumb.

I don't get why they don't put third person option in the first place… Fallout has done it wonderfully and worked just as I expected and this game is pretty similar in terms of gameplay. 8 years of work and still felt like this game is rushed.
